No i dont use torrents or anything like that so my bandwith is not being used, it freezes even with my pc off. I will try to see what my ISP can do but I doubt they can do much, from what ive read it is very rare that ISPs sort out loss of packets. Thanks for the advice anyway m8, cheers Rob aka insomiac

Hungarian programs works without any problems TV2,RTL KLUB and all other
yesterday it was still ok.

Could some moderator please post the supported Sky UK sports channels please. The transponder sid/pid and whatever is needed.

HD and SD versions please.

Because at the moment I am finding it impossible to determine which are the correct ones as more than one seem to work at a time and all of them freeze occasionally.

Before you ask me for a log, please post the details for the supported channels so I can be 100% sure I am using the right ones.

Then possibly make the details a sticky to avoid any further confusion.

The site provides all data required. We announced that of all duplicated channels, only one (1) should work OK, cause SIDs of the remaining channels were disabled. If you experience freezes watching all channels - it means that you have to check your route to the server as well as the previous user with a similar problem.

I've already said more than one appear to work at any given time. Could you not just list the exact SIDs you support rather than trying to shift the blame on to the user.

I know that you are quite right and already asked the Moderator to prepare such list with all necessary information, cause it is reaaly impossible to know which of the 4(3,2) channels must work.

I have to say that UPC is not SkyUK with duplicated channels. I provided the user with detailed guide how to make log-dile. Do you know that it is not possible to identify the problem without log? Each time there is one and the same request from all users- please provide your logs. We provide the logs to the Moderator to analyse the problem (if any), and to find out whether the problem is on our side or on the user's. Please, again, provide your log-files!
Sometimes it may happen that users have the same ISP and some failures happen on the route to our server. But we cannot prove it to the Moderator until we show him your logs.

Anyway, i have been using the UK package for nearly two months now. The only two channels i have problems with are sly sports 1 / 2 SD & HD, which are very hit and miss half the time. I have tried the other duplicated channels time and time again but nothing changes. Anyway, this week sly sports 1 & 2 have been constantly freezing ! Strange when every other channel in the package works perfectly !!! I'm also on server 2 btw.

Exactly the same situation for me. I have a Spiderbox, which as far as I know does not allow one to get logs off of it. The rest of the Sky channels work fine though...

Yes I agree it is very strange as its only on sky sports so i dont see how it can be lost packets cos how come it affects no other channels ? It is only on sky sports and it seems a lot of people are having the same problem, we cant all have packet loss problems...everyone has stated that sky sports freeze on all channels whether its the duplicates or the right channels. Also all my packets are being lost from this server address (ip) not on route. Please admin/mods investigate further. Cheers, rob aka insomniac

Thank you all for your posts and replies. We'll investigate the problem. We suspect that SkyUK is using some kind of protection during important and most interesting matches, and they are adding something to their stream. All these are already and will be sent to the Moderator for further analysis to solve the problem (if any).
