Hi guys there seems to be a few people who have mentioned this problem with sky sports on the sky uk package but here is the log file while my box is freezing on sky sports during the football. Im sure this is a server problem as it only happens during the football no matter what sky sports channel I put it on as I have 3-4 of each sky sports channels. Anyway here is the log:

I have no idea what this log means but there is clearly a problem as my internet response time is good. Please let me know asap as this has been happening this I started my subscription but only on sky sports but I havent been able to provide a log until now as i was struggling to get 3csyslog working (as you know from my previous posts) Cheers, Rob aka insomniac

Yes it's annoying, but this has now become a tradition for Sky Italia.

Once in a while they go for a few days, and then come back.
I guess this is why it's called a "bonus" package, without guarantee.

Hello, finally we have log-file which could be sent to the Moderator for analysis, thank you.
He was told about the problem, but without log he cannot accept the claims. Now, I hope, he will try to solve the problem. Please also specify the server you are using (1 or 2).

Hi, in your log it is not clear which channels is watched at the moment, there is no SID
[mg0] service 1076 index 0 pmt pid 101 (1), pids: video 0x0203, audio 0x0283 0x0297 0x0243 0x0245

Make log from the moment you start emulator or zap to the other channel in order to see the SID. We need at least 5 minute log during freezes.
In your log CaPID: 0x0514, it must be CaPID: 0x0513. PID 0514 is available on sports2 which is not working and sports4 which works OK, there is no such CaPID in all sports1.
Then, we don't like CaPID: 0x00C0 ProvID: 000000 in your log, the line should appear once, but not so frequent as in your log file. Or you zapped the channels?
Your CW1 value is the same being repeated 4 times. It must be different each time when the key is received
and so on and so forth....

So, we came to the conclusion that you stand on the channel which is one of the several duplicated... We announced in the news and announcements that of all similar channels you have to select the channel which is working OK. SIDs os the remaining channels are disabled, the only SID is left of the channel hich works OK. Rescan again your satellite and find the channel whoch is OK without freezes.

No it was sky sports 4 for that log (real madrid vs lyon) not sky sports 1 but it happens on all sky sports channels and regardless none of the sky sports channels worked during the football I even got black screen when I tried another sky sports 4 also i have tried all 4 versions of sky sports 4 and none of them worked but I just posted some of the log not all of it. To be honest this sounds like a pretty poor excuse for a problem being experienced by more than a few members. I have not changed channels constantly or zapped them as you put it cos I know that is against the rules. I tried all 4 versions of sky sports 2 that night and none worked. This problem only happens on sky sports and only during big football games so it is clearly a server problem. I will post a 5 minute log next time but to be honest I do feel this is just an excuse by claiming its my fault for zapping channels which i never do and for not providing you a 5 minute log. I wish I had been told this before i took the log as now the problem is being dismissed where as if i knew u wanted me to change channels and post a 5 minute log I would have done that as I want to watch the channles I pay for without freezing. Is the problem not going to be investigated then basically until I post another log ? Cheers, rob aka insomniac

In my next post I managed to just fit a 5 minute log, please let me know asap what is happening as sky sports 1, 2 ,3, 4 and sky sports news all freeze no matter what channels I try out of the 4-5 version of each channel. My advice for you is to reflash image, to make settings again (mg_cfg, etc) and try again.
Moderator reply is that no problem with sky sports channels.

This seems very unprofessional as there clearly is a problem with sky sports and I have tried different images. To be honest I have already done everything you have said and that doesnt explain why it only happens on sky sports and why there are multiple threads claiming the same problem. I have reflashed my box with gemini enigma at your request set the mg_cfg exactly as you posted, i did the ignore, priority replace lists and edited the newcamd.list. I then have updated transponder list, rescanned satellite but still no change. I have done everything that was requested by yourselves but still it freezes on sky sports and only sky sports. Is there nothing you can do ? Ive just prolonged my subscription and if I knew this problem would not be sorted even after I provide 2 different log files I wouldnt have ordered 3 more months as im a football addict.
