Issues with DVBLink + CSC 4.0.0.2

Hi

I hope someone can help this CS newbie with this.

I am testing out a subscription on 28.2E but cannot get any locked channels to decode; however I can view all FTA channels. I am using DVBLink TV Source 4.1 together with CSC 4.0.0.2

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have read that post and have configured the csc.ini file as detailed using the values listed under "Settings for PCI & USB SkyStar cards and Season Clients" section on the My Subscription page; I don't have any other software such ProgDVB installed so I thought just setting the values within the ini file would be enough.

I understand that csc plugin was "produced" a long time before Windows media center appeared and the plugins were used (and are still used and working OK) with Prog DVB, DVB Dream, Alt DVB software. Unfortunately, we are not csc developers, and cannot further support it. So, my advice - if you want to watch via dvb card- change software.

Oh OK, are there any other CS client plugins you would recommend for my setup, for example Hadu?

I really want to keep using DVBLink/W7 MC as it is wife-friendly

Try to find CSC 4.0.0.1, 4.0.0.4

Tried both csc v4.0.0.1 and v4.0.0.4 and still no luck

Just installed ProgDVB 6.8.2 and configured csc 4.0.0.2 following the instructions in http://www.cardsharing.cc/index.php?topic=8140.0 but still unable to get any channels to work. could this be an account issue?

No, i don't see any connection from you. If you were banned (even got a short-term ban), you would have received an e-mail message from the server for rules violation. I think, issue is in your internet connection. Your requests do not reach the server.

thanks suma, the lack of connection to the server got me thinking and after some Windows Firewall configuration changes the channel are now working. Next to get csc 4.0.0.2 working from DVBLink TV Source and all would be perfect!
