I'm new to this  forum and need some advice please I have taken out for the moment a trial but have only minor problems in that I keep getting connection problems On day one problems getting connected. Ok all day after connection made at night was disconnected for no reason twice.

This morning disconnected twice then connected ok
I have a Technomate 5402hd CI+ which is a non Linux receiver
I am using newcamd525 on this package

Is there anything else that I might need to add as all this is new to me.

You are using cccam, it is not recommended, use mgcamd 1.35(a)

The TM5402hd is using newcamd525 for the package not cccam it can only use what is supplied in the phantom patch as far as I know. But I will ask Phantom for confirmation.

Anyway to get mgcamd added to the addon (8281) for the non linux stb's,
would be great.

MgCamD is implemented in the 8281 addon software, set the protocol to 'Newcamd' and enter your MgCamD CWS line details, as MgCamD uses NewcamD protocol

Hello my friends.

I've purchasted vip hotbird since 25/8/2011 but i still can't set it up.
I have the lines for cccam that i use and for the mgcamd but it seems like something is missing.

You sent me for cccam : "L: xxxxxx1.cc xxxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxx
                                        L: xxxxxx1.cc xxxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxx"

and for MGCAMD :           "cs357x://xxxxx:xxxxxxxx@xxxxx1.cc:xxxxx

My receiver is a dreambox 500

Hello, you need mgcamd 1.31 emulator for your DM500, not cccam.
Lines are provided in the billing, they look like CWS...

No, leave as it is and do nothing with these lines. They are just for information - which packages are assigned to which ports.
