Vu+Duo Clone Success Story (finally)

Hello there,
                   After spending literally days to get this running here are a few pointers that will help so others don't have to go throught the same pain.

Firstly when you get your box - if it is a clone there are lots of later images that won't work with the unit.  These are due to antipiracy attempts.  So if I had my time I would buy an original - (when I bought mine I did not know the difference between clone and original)

1.  Get rid of the image that the box comes with - after a lot of pain and at least 5 different images that would not work for one reaon or another I managed to get VIX V3.0 to work downloaded from the http://www.8a8f8.com/ - this is a clone specialist website.  The image is great, very user friendly and for the moment seems much more stable than the others that I tried.  It is dead easy to change an image with a USB stick and you will find plenty of info on how to do this on the web / google.
2.  Use the very informative post placed by Rhole http://www.cardsharing.cc/index.php?topic=29155.0  follow this and use his files and the system will work.
3. I changed the setting for the box in mg-cfg  B = 06 and this seems to work fine.
4. I just wish that I knew which would have saved a lot of time - but there  is nothing better than self education!
