facing problem with ftp setting for dm500plus

Hi there,

I tried to connect my dreambox to my pc to upload files via ftp connection and im using filezilla for it. i am able to to connect dreambox via telnet and even through IE browser the only problem i am facing is when i try to connect to dreambox through ftp i get an error i.e "error 500 oops can not change directory:/root". any solutions please

connecting DM with PC using null-modem cable. You will have the window similar to Total Commander. Very convenient to use.

thanks for you concern. i tried DCC295 and getting the same error. is there any way to reflash or format the dreambox and set new settings for it?or do you provide any server connection to CCcam because that is what already installed in my dreambox and i have been using it in past?

In the Hardware section of the forum, read Dreambox lessons. A description how to flash DM etc. is provided in the topic. We don't support CCCam, only camd3 or newcamd (with mgcamd). Hope, you will flash your DM again and set it up for mgcamd.
Meanwhile, look for DM image with mgcamd 1.31 or 1.35 included (somewhere in the internet).
