16 LNBs to 1 receiver

Hi.

Is it possible to connect 16LNBs to a single receiver (Dreambox DM 800 HD se) without the use of a 1x16 DiSEQC switch?
I have quite a lot of 1x8 diseqc switches. Can I connect multiple 1x8 diseqc switches somehow to get access to all 16 LNBs?

No.
Each converter requires individual power supply.

Because a Diseq-Switch connects the receiver/sat-cable to one LNB depending on the Diseq-command, its not a problem of too many LNBs, because at the end only one LNB and the Diseq-Switch itself is active what should not make problems with power supply of the receiver.

You can cascade Diseq-Switches if they support uncommited and commited DiSEqC commands.
