Protek 9760

Hi, recently changed from Protek 9750 to 9760 now unable to access any channels, i have also changed broadband supplier, my questions are do i need to change my personal IP address and do i need to change the IP address on my 9760 if i do how can this be done.  Apologies if this is stupid question but i have been trying for weeks.
