Hi,
I have every couple of minutes dropouts on Sky and other encrypted channels.
It is shown as not or wrong decrypted packets in the picture like atmospheric disturbance.
I have already checked:
- that the sattelite dish is positioned corretly (Astra 19.2 E)
- that the signal strength is good (96 to 99 Percent)
- disabled ipv6 on my receiver
I tried CCcam and OsCam.
The problem is about since a month. Difficult to say when it really started.
Before it worked without problems.
Any idea what else to try?

Angi
Hi,

Ah, yes you're right, I missed that, sorry. :-[
General question about emulators and protocols:
Which combination is the most stable in your opinion?
Can you give a ranking like 1. , 2. , 3. ... about emulator together with protocol?
Currently I use OScam emulator with newcamd protocol.
I will try OScam emulator with CCcam protocol.
If I can't solve it I will add a Log file.

Angi
If you study the forum, you will find tips for Oscam users
https://www.cardsharing.cc/index.php?topic=35019.0
In your case, I will recommend to try image other than VTI
Also, read sub-forum re:Vu+ receivers, maybe this will help

Thanks for your help.
Against all odd (and the advise in the forum) I changed my oscam emulator
from newcamd protocol to cccam protocol.
Everything runs fine now, no dropouts on any channel.
