Hi folks,
after reading more than 3 hours and trying out couple of things I´m going to give up .. :(
Situation:
I bought two lines for my parents, Sky and HD+. Sky works fine, HD+ doesn´t.
I suppose this is some kind of CAID problem since when I select for example RTL Nitro HD on receiver the "online connection history" shows, that the receiver requested decoding for
Channel: Unknown channel (SkyDE)
SID: 0132 (306d)
CAID@IDENT: 098C@000000
For port: xxxxx
For RTL 2 HD the server gets the request
Channel: Unknown channel (SkyDE)
SID: 01A1 (417d)
CAID@IDENT: 098C@000000
For port: xxxxx
Username is "nervoesiNB"
Receier (I´m going to add this to my signature as well) is a DM800 HD (Clone) with MGCamD1.35 installed on OpenATV 4.2.1
Unfortuneately I´m not able to get a LOG since the installation of 3CSyslog fails. I´m able to start the installation but nothing happens then. May be a w10 issue?
Appreciate your help
kind regards
Steffen
caid and ident are correct, but SID is wrong
RTL-2HD = EF15 (61205) and RTL-Nitro HD SID = 2EAF (11951)
I don't know what the problem is but as long as your receiver/emu send the wrong SID the channel will not be decoded of course.
Perhaps check mg_cfg file and the value
# box type
# 00 autodetect, change only if you think wrong type detected.
# 01 dbox2
# 02 dreambox
# 03 triple-dragon
# 04 relook
# 05 openbox
# 06 dreambox/mips
# 08 stapi/kathrein
# 09 stapi/ipbox
# 11 stapi/openbox
B: { 06 }
even if it is a clone box 06 should be right
if this does not help I would reinstall image
Hi Jogi,
thx for your idea. I've just checked the mg.cfg but it's set to B: 06 already.
Image reinstallation is not possible for now since I'm just having Remote-Access to the box through my mothers pc. So I´m able to install a new image - yes, but than I´m offline :(
Any other suggestions?
kind regards
Steffen
QuoteDM800 HD Clone (DVB-C) with MGCamD 1.35 on OpenATV 4.2.1
HD+ via cable uses other cards than satellite.
You can not decode a DVB-C Channel by using a DVB-S CS . As sure as I know only DVB-S is offered here.
Edit: Your ID for RTL2 matches the ID of Telecolumbus. You should be happy that sky is working. Usually even the CAIDs for sky in cable are different than DVB-S
