Hi Suma I bought new receiver VU+ SOLO4K and there are no posibilieties to use mgcamd or cccam clint, there is only OSCAM allowed. Is there some problem to conect to CS?
How can J do it? I tried to setup oscam, but I was blocked, because I use 2 emulators, but mgcamd was on old receiver, that I switch off, and connect new one, with oscam.. how can I fix it?
thank´s a lot Tino
Hi,
Please refer to Hardware sub-forum https://www.cardsharing.cc/index.php?board=53.0 and read what are the most common problems faced by the users. I think, you have to change image (firmware) as the most receivers MUST have mgcamd or cccam preinstalled. Either, study your receiver and its tools (plugins) which are usually helpful to download and install some emulators other than those already available.
As far as we recommend using mgcamd emulator (or cccam via mgcamd), we provide only the settings good for these emulators (protocols).
I know Suma, I´m not newbee in VU+, but there is new HW with ARM procesor(not MIPS) and for that time, there are no possibilities to install cccam or mgcamd... for that time
I have started settings for emulator OSCAM for Cccam protocol and everithing works fine..
Hello Tino,
I hav same issue. My VU+ just broke and bought a new one. Not knowing that MGcam is not working on ARM boxes. Unfortunatly I never used CCcam or anything else but MGcam. Can you maybe help me what I need to configure and where? I have dowloaded the OSCAM plugin. But need to know what files to edit on the box and in which way
Regards
CS
HI,
I have the same problem . My new box only supports OSCAM. What can I do ?
How can I find instructions how to use OSCAM with cardsharing service?
Thanks..
Hi, try other firmware. Depends on the firmware written for your box. I have VU+Zero, and OpenPli 6.0 installed. It supports mgcamd (newcamd), Oscam and everything works fine.
Use Google for search and specify your particular model of receiver. There is a lot of specific forums re: softcam installation and adjusting.
Unfortunately the VU+ solo 4K only supports Oscam since it is an arm processor.
I use mgcam over Oscam with the correct settings
N: { 07 } 360 3600
K: { 07 }
but i get these errors:
Requests above the limit :1453
Delayed decoding 9
What could that be ? Is there any setting on OSCAM to avoid that?
In my Oscam installation (etc\tuxbox\config\oscam\), initially there were 5 files:
oscam.conf
oscam.provid
oscam.server
oscam.srvid
oscam.user
Of them, I deleted oscam.provid and oscam.srvid, only 3 files are left (all with 755 rights).
To oscam.server file, I copied and paste data for oscam from the billing (readers).
That's all and no need in mgcamd, I forgot about it because all packages in MY subscription (including NTV+ which requires long ECM and wiccard) are running well. After installing Oscam, I asked Moderator if there were any violation from my side and received the answer - NO.
P.S. Oscam was installed from the feed
Thank you,
It is possible that the VU+ SOLO 4K has delayed decoding enabled as default.
Everything worked perfect before with my VU Duo.
I have more than 4000 requests over limit now in less than one day.
No idea why that is....

Enabled where?
I don´t know. I have people heard saying, that the delayed encoding feature of the solo4K is a
great feature and that it makes channel changing much faster.
I don´t know where to enable or disable that...
I have turned on my receiver 1 hour ago and made no channel switches, just running on one channel.
I get this:
Requests for channel decoding above daily limit: 487
After one hour...
ccam protocol over OScam.
Could someone please tell me, why?
Can someone check my configs, please ?
Do I need a mg.cfg in /var/keys or do I only need oscam.server ?
Thanks...
1. In my description, I wrote that no need to install mgcamd or other emulators, use only Oscam. Of 5 files downloaded from feed, 2 files were deleted and only 3 left. Just copy and paste Oscam settings from the billing (read above).
2. https://www.cardsharing.cc/index.php?topic=32619.0 item 4
3. Delete all other emulators, use only Oscam.

Do I need a mg.cfg in /var/keys or do I only need oscam.server ?
You do not need /var/keys, as you do not use mgcamd. You need only oscam.server, where you copy and past oscam settings for newcamd protocol (or cccamd protocol - depending on you) in the billing:
[reader]
label = "main_cardsharing.cc_XXXXX port"
protocol = newcamd
key = 0102030405060708091011121314
device = servXX.com,XXXXX port
user = your login
password = your password
group = 1
audisabled = 1
inactivitytimeout = 300
ident = 0500:042800,042820
Thank you.
I deleted everything as you said.
Only Oscam.server is in there now.
I will continue testing. Unfortunately I still have the shifting delays because of my violations.
If you could reset that then I could continue to test and see if it´s working fine..
Спасибо
If you enter your statistics (connections history), you will find that all errors are zeroed every morning. Unfortunately, I can do nothing, I am not Moderator.
You may wait for 30-40 minutes, restart your receiver and test again.

Only Oscam.server is in there now.
Not only Oscam.server file, but 2 more files must be present in the folder (total, 3 files):
oscam.conf
oscam.server
oscam.user
And you have to fill in only oscam.server file leaving 2 others as it is.
Thanks,
I did that:
That´s my result:
Requests received 6781
Requests decoded 4053
Requests rejected 2728
- Requests above the limit 2671
- Delayed decoding 57
EMM requests 6
KeepAlive requests 2275
With the VU Duo everything was ok, with the solo 4K it´s a desaster...
Is there anyone on the forum with a Solo 4K ?????????

I used "search" option of the forum and found this.
Read and contact the users with Vu+Solo 4K, they had similar problems
Thanks for the links.
I found that option fcc " fast channel change".
I will disable it in VTI and test further.
Maybe that was a problem...
It looks like it is working now !
Thanks a lot for your help !!
:)
:)
Thank you very much!!!! your tip was very good. everything works. the problem was quite simple.
the new 4k receiver only works
oscam ...
but now comes the main reason: by the "fbc tuner" the CS server is "attacked". In my case, 4 or 8 (software) tuners were running in the background. These have summoned the transmitter.
The problem is fcc (fast chanel change). if this is activated, the CS server sends too many "requests etc.". As a result, there are many rule violations. after I disabled fcc, everything went perfect.
ALSO ... fcc at twintuner or fbc disable.
thanks again to the support. 1A !!!!!

what does long ecm mean ?
oscam.provid and oscam.srvid is only for your information. If you create a log or watch WebIF of Oscam you will find Name of the PayTV company and the watched channel (what could also be recognized by Oscam from the data stream on most receivers) - but has absolutely no influence on the server-connection. You can open the files with a text editor like all config files and you wil only find that information but no configuration at all.
Files like oscam.services and oscam.dvbapi are configuration settings that affect the decoding preferences and might conflict with the cs-server settings and rules
