after the discussion some days ago I already removed the Channel from my favorites, as it was clear it will not work anymore
tested the channel today again while testing reception of other channels and was suprised, that Channel 5 HD is decoded again :)

mine doesnt how did you achieve this? i tried a scan and new bouqettes and it still doesnt work :(

Maybe, I am not right, but all HD channels are black in Sky Italia, commercial receivers do not support such a bitrate they have now.
i found the answer by accident looking at something else, the codec has not changed, channel 5 has, its moved from free to view to the sky HD pay per view channels pack, see this link http://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-HD-SkyHD-Sky-3D/Channel-5HD-problem/td-p/1459823/page/5 it seems the sky customers are not happy either....
