Title: How do I find the test channel?
Post by: svenlindh on 05 August 2013, 14:50:07
Hi

I got my mgcam to connect to your testserver but I dont know how to find the channel that I want to test.

I can see that I got a Frequency and a Service ID. But I dont know how to use it, or how to modify my cable.xml to make it fit.

Im using a Dreambox PVR600 with firewire: release j.a.d, 06.09.e320 and Enigma.

Hi,
Test is being taken by random selection of channel, not the channel you want to test. You may take tests even every day, and each time, test channel will be different. This is general test. If you want to test any particular channel, you may ask about the channel on the forum.
Also, you may take a 3-day test of any particular package (it is paid).
All data received in the billing are added to newcamd.list file, not cable.xml.
Please read the forum, all mgcamd settings are described.

Ok, yea I know that you provide me with a channel that I can test. Think is I dont know how to find it or how to search for it. I think I need to change something to find it with the right transponders or something?

The problem might also be the fact that I'm using DVB-C. Is that a problem?

Of course. We are using satellite cardsharing, not cable. You need a dish first of all.
