right now the following channels are not decoded:
sky sports 4 hd
eurosport hd
sky action hd
sky drama romance hd
mgm hd
fx hd
these are the ones i know of
please try to fix them if the problem is on your end

sorry, but my receiver cannot produce a log file, or i have no access to it
i have just cheched: all the channels are fixed.
but this happens every day: by late afternoon/night time 2-3 channels stop working, and then fixed by the next morning. always different channels...anybody else having these issues?
Nobody has fixed the channels. They WERE and ARE working OK. I think, it depends on Amiko's firmware which is not ideal yet. You have to ask AMIKO owners this question, they should have the same problem...

while on sky news hd i accessed the receiver's menu:
menu/internet/net client config...i saw the following line:
server 1 failed
server 1 get ecm (caid 0963 pid 0500 table 81) cw failed
...oops...but as i am writing these words: all the channels start working
any ideas, anyone???
what am i doing wrong?

this happens every day...different channels...and by the following morning its fixed (or the problem is resolved somehow)
i'm just trying to get to the bottom of this issue.
if this is not a server problem, then it must be in my receiver, but i dont know what?
anybody who has amiko receiver or knows about them...please help!

I will leave this question open. I have to discuss it with the Moderator and we have to check your requests sent by receiver to the server. I have one suspicion, but i dought that i am right. I don't like the line

Control sum of sent ECM does not coincide with the control sum received.
Here we shall analyze whether it is the server problem or the problem of your emulator, because every time, as you say, different channels stop working for you.

as my 1 month subscription comes to an end, I would like to ask if you have any update on this issue. I would prolong for 1 year (because it's more convenient than the monthly payments), but I should know if there is a solution to this on your end? As far as I'm concerned, it's a dead end: there is nothing I can phisically do with this receiver to work differently. Latest emu firmwear loaded, server details set up, channels set up properly (no duplicates). But I cannot go deeper, as this is not a linux box, so no access to files. Did extensive research online (forums, ...), I would need a linux box to be able to load those recommended settings/files you are refering to.
The trouble is that I could get a linux box second hand, cheap, but only SD, or buy an HD linux box REALLY expensive. I can't afford that. If I could, I would have a geniune subscription ;)

I cannot agree with you. A lot of DM500HD are sold from China. You will not feel any difference with original ones - the only difference is in price.
