Me too. Went off about 1:30 GMT and hasnt connected since. Was working perfectly prior to this.

Have you checked internet connection? I will tell the Moderator of your problem. Check again your internet. It can't be so that you suddenly cannot login.
Log file is needed. How can i check if you really cannot connect to the server?
According to my data, both of you were connected

Generally your server is reliable (except the viewasia sometimes). But today morning it was just gone for few hours. Login was not accepted. My other server for Viasat was working fine. However since around 12 PM GMT time connection has been established successfully.
When you say the log file? what time period do you want it?

I think we missed that period. The period when you tried to connect the server and were rejected
We found the reason. During this period of your disability, your IP has been changed. That was the reason. Tell "thank you" to your internet provider!
Hi Suma.
Yes went of early hours and I couldnt reconnect. was like that till I went to bed and the same in the morning. I had rebooted router and box and it didnt make a difference. Internet tested and woring fine. Tried other servers from elsewhere and they worked fine. Changed from dns to static still the same. So as I was off out changed server and left it off for hours and now seems ok.
I wasnt critcising just pointed out it had gone off and wouldnt reconnect which is odd as the server is very reliable and this hadnt happened before.
Must be gremilns. At least its connected ok now :-)

Offcourse we are private customers, so we have "non static" IP address. No point of having a commercial static ip address for us, as most domestic customers would not need it. Something which is beyond mine and your control.
But is there a solution to this issue?

We cannot allow all IP addresses to access our server, only certain range of addressed. You know, there is a black list of IP which are not allowed, etc. So, what has happenned, of course is not your fault. This is completely on provider side. But server cannot be adjusted so that to allow the user (with a certain login-password) access from various IPs at a time. IP was quite different from the one you connected initially.

But if such thing happens again, is forum the best place to write this problem or email moderator id directly? (which he will read, if awake :-)
I have ICQ, you can send your offline or online message to the ICQ so that i contact Moderator urgently. Meanwhile, check and record your current IP in order to compare it to the future IP (in case provider will change it again)
