I have an orton x403p box which was running mgcamd and now trying newcamd.
i keep getting to many connections email and service stopped.
i only have one box so only need one subscription.
i am running latest image on orton box 1.41 i believe.
please help as i do not want to be banned.

Hi, what is the version of your mgcamd? Can it be reinstalled or it is built-in emulator?
it is built in to image.
Try to change image (flash receiver with the latest one) and try again. If you continue receiving server warnings - the only advice is to change receiver.

Question to technical support of your receiver. I have no idea
its happened again, same email, too many connections.
whats weird is that i was out last night with the box off, when i got home, switched on, didnt change channel and after 15 mins went off and got email.
have changed password on account
just a thought, but in uk most broadband providers dynamically give you an ip address and not a static and this ip is shared with other customers of there broadband, so if you are unlucky a person on the same ip maybe using cardsharing aswell.
not sure if this can be checked.
also, the orton x403p uses an hsdata.cfg file to configure mgcamd which is in the form

not sure if this can be altered
using latest image and mgcamd and newcamd is built in, there are other cams but not sure if they can be used on your server.
could go for older image to use a lower version of mgcamd maybe.
used your service for over a year with no problems on dm500s, only since upgraded box to x403p has this started. i cannot afford to upgrade again.

Why then you stopped using DM? If you need HD, upgrade to DM500HD (chineese clones are cheap)
because i wanted HD and this was the cheapest option, see other people are having similar probs.

If not, maybe try to see on Openbox forums. The x403p is identical to an Openbox S10 physically. And the firmware is similar in many ways graphically from the videos I see, even using the same graphics at certain points. Maybe some people with Openbox S9/10/11 can help you configure it correctly.

the box is configured and works just i get ip banned occasionally for repeat connections.
