I have a Blade Media 7000 HD receiver, the protocols that this receiver accepts are NEWCAMD or CCCAM. Will this receiver operate with the newcamd525 or camd3 provided by your cc server?
Should work with newcamd. Take test and see if it works or not.
thanks
subscribed for a test line. no information on what port number to use?
How did you subscribe? test line including server name and port No. is provided in the billing when you buy test.
Found the port number on my subscription account information. I can also confirm that the newcamd525 works fine on the Blade. :)
Bit of an update, there are problems with the blade and newcamd525. Scrambled channels appear frequently even though the line is active and connected. Disconnect and reconnect usually clears the problem and scrambled channels are then cleared.
I am not alone with this problem, similar problems have been reported by other blade users.
Maybe bugs of the firmware. Consult technical support of Blade receiver
Just wondering On the blade 7000 when entering ncamd details where it states address i assume that i have to put servxxx.cc ?

From you PC, type xxxxxxx (name of our server) using ping comman line and press OK, you will see IP address.
i have 5/6 customers using blade media box 7000 and all of them are experiencing the same problem keep getting scrambled channel frequently they are all using newcamd settings and have made lots of attempts of changing the firmware but still the problem exists. I have tried other test lines from another provider and it works perfect i cant keep customers if i provide a bogus service to them so I need to find out y this problem exists as i have been trying for several weeks now and cant find a solution.
I can confirm that there is definitely a problem with this service and blade boxes. Tried a few other providers and there areno problems. The blade is now getting very popular, so I suspect that you are going to loose a lot of trade over this problem..
what does the moderator say about this then

I am very sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, the service cannot be adjusted for newly appeared receivers (we are existing since 2006). Very much the other way, new receivers shall be adjusted for our service. This is not our problem that firmware is incompatible (or underdeveloped) with/for our service.
regards

Tend to disagree on this one. It's the server that appears to be underdeveloped with the release of these new receivers.
Anyway its not a problem, its just a matter of finding an alternative service supplier. It's just information for Blade users that there are problems with your service with the blade..
We cannot adjust our server for tens and hundreds of new models manufactured almost every day, do you understand? Before buying any subscription, users take test and check if their equipment is compatible with the server. We are not the only server in the world and if your receiver does not work, it doesn't mean that you must blame us in your failures. Find other server and connect, you are welcome. In the future, we are not going to adjusr ourselves for everyone. We have protocols and emulators specific for our server, and everybody is requested to adjust his equipment to connect to our service. Who fails, you always have a choice to find the server compatible with your receiver.
Have a good time

same issue what else have you tired. Pm me
Hi All,
Same issue here, will have to move to another provider when subscription runs out.... shame as Blade BM7000s is a great receiver and lots of friends are starting to use it.... never mind.
I have the same problems, it's a shame this server doesent support cccam :(
here are some tips i have to get the package to work
move to the channel you want to watch, hit 9991 and disconnect from the server
wait 10 seconds and reconnect to the server, wait to see if the picture comes up
if it does wait another 10 seconds to see if it stays up, if it does exit the 9991 menu
and enjoy, if not, repeat the process a few times.
you will have to do this with every channel you want to watch.
