hi what is wrong with sky uk package it has gne off. says cnt decode in log
i'm the same mate, always seems to go down around 23:00 UK time.
I just paid out for a years sub (going on the decent service i had seven month previous) but this is a joke.
Actually to add to what i wrote before, since the premier league football has started back the HD sports UK channels seem to be freezing alot.
But at this very moment, i cannot access any channel, including the SD channels.
Yup, seems to be bollocksed at the moment, saturday night after the pub!
Sky UK work fine

SkY UK is now working with server2
With 2 servers, we can even use the 2nd server as backup straight away.
I see No point of having 2 servers when you can't even access it straight away, waste of server money.

In fairness, it *WAS* down for (it seems) UK and Ireland members for a period around midnight saturday when using server2, but as usual it returned quite promptly.
It's always wise to wait an hour or so before assuming the worst, and maybe in the meantime try pinging or tracerouting about the web if You are that bored..
Also eircom (the main DSL wholesaler in ireland) is currently upgrading it's network, so some subscribers are loosing whole portions of the internet for periods.. for example: You may not be able to access any sites in the USA, yet sites in the UK are fine etc.

Server2 was down, you switched to server2 when it was working, you did not see my message saying 'SkY UK is now working with server2'.
Lads, not sure if it is just me but normally after 11pm or sometime after midnight (especially at weekends) i tend to find the service just goes down. I just can't seem to get connected after that so i just turn off and it normally is back in the morning. HD sports channels are the worst offenders.
How bout yourselfs ?
Does suma know if the server resets during the night ?
Server reboots every morning, 6:00 AM Moscow time, automatically. In the extreme cases, we can reboot the server manually if global problem occurs.

To study and solve the problem (if any), we need to know the following:
1. exact channel name
2. exact time of freeze
3. SID of the channel
4. freeze description - how many per minute, per hour
5. extended log-file is desired (5-10 minutes interval, attaches as txt file)
If we know this information, we'll study and find out - what is the reason for your freezes.
