This is my first time in cardsharing and i'm trying to read instructions on the site and set-up my Dreambox 500 HD.
Well, What have i done : I flashed it with gemini2 5,1version and i downloaded from addons Mgcam 1,31 .... then with ftp i put file mg_cfg to /var/keys/ folder.
My questions now are:
1) Am i ready now to start sharring??
2)Will the admins sent me some extra settings (a file maybe to my mailbox) for setup when i choose my pakage??
3) Should i choose Mgcam1,31 only or Mgcam1,31 with NewCS 1,67
4) Should i have any other file in /var/key/ ???

Not necessary to put this file manually, it can be downloaded via adons together with mgcamd as full configs (it is included).

No, nobody will send you any additional settings. You will be provided with CWS line(s) in the billing when you purchase your subscription. You will just need to make the entries to your newcamd.list

You have to choose Mgcamd 1.31 (or 1.35) only.

The following files: newcamd.list, mg_cfg - are required, ignore.list and priority.list - optional.
Before you buy full subscription, it is recommended to take a 3-day test first just to be sure that all settings are correct.

Ok i will try to purchase my subscription but witch protocol should i order? Newcamd5,25 or Camd3???
Do i have to do something extra to my receiver for this protocols??

On mg_cfg file and on L: { 03 } 172.16.1.1 28007 /tmp/mgcamd.log what should i write??? My routers I.P?? and in place 28007....what??

The line shall look like this:
L: { 01 } 192.168.1.33 514
where 192.168.1.
33 is your computer IP (replace it with appropriate number), and 514 (don't change) is a port No. of PC used to receive log-file from you DM if you apply
3CSyslog software.
Typically, the mg_cfg file is left by default with only several lines modified depending on your personal settings and configs.
