Dual login needed for watching two different channels on the same frequency?

I'm happily up and running with my setup and a Sky UK subscription but I have a couple of questions regarding what dual login covers.

Do I need to have dual login if I'm watching one channel and recording another channel but are using one receiver and both channels are on the same frequency?

Also if I was to upgrade my tuner card to a quad DVB S2 to allow more channels to be watched and recording at the same time on the one box does dual login cover this or do you offer larger subscriptions that would cover this?

It does not matter from the same frequency you are watching and recording, or from different frequencies. Requests are sent by your receiver per each channel as they have different parameters.
At the moment, you can watch and record only 2 channels at a time. No other options are provided.

Thank you for the quick reply. I had seen the FAQ but some of the minor details were not clear and I wanted to double check before going ahead and breaking any rules.

I would love to see a quad login option in the future then. Currently pay $7.50/m for dual login on skyUK+extras would happily pay up to $15/m for the same service on a quad login.

As a side note does anyone know how to set tvheadend to limit its descrambling to only two channels max? I don't want to accidently start descrambling more than two at a time and get my account banned.

Are there any plans, to offer a quadlogin? More and more tuners available with 4 tuners and run into troubles using only dual-login and not every receiver/software are capable, to handle two dual-login accounts. I would like to see this option, happy to pay more for peacefull watching and recording. Thank you.

good idea - if you can tell me any usefull Oscam configuration that makes sure, the "3rd and 4th line" (2nd dual login account) is used as soon as line 1 and two (first dual login account) is already in use (I name Oscam because I believe this would only be possible with Oscam and for sure not using Mgcamd)
thats the problem: by default, if a reader is available, Oscam would use the 1st account - for all requested codewords/ECMs to process.
that combination works fine with dual login option, as the server allows two simultaneous connection but not 3 or 4 of them *g*
best option I would see is two dual login accounts and spare the available SIDs to one of the dual login accounts. But this might also end up in rule violation if you access 3 or 4 channels dedicate to the same reader/cs-connection *g*

to make it short: as long as the server does not allow 3 or 4 simultaneous connections it will always end in the possibility to violate the server rules and get banned. Or you limit yourself and have yourself an eye on the situation what you are watching simultaneously to avoid penalties or interruption of service.
