KII Pro - Oscam apps to set

I have recently purchased a KII Pro Android hybrid set-top box (Satelite and Aerial), which I am trying to set up to work with Oscam, with no luck so far.

There are two apps I have found which seems to work with Oscam - OSTool and Oscam Manager, but I am unable to figure out how to set any of those.

Oscam manager seems to be more comprehensive, but after copying login details onto SD cards it doesn't work (I tried txt, but it looks like a bin file is required).
Webif site is not very helpful either, as there is just an overwhelming amount of information (at least for a newbie like me).

 Could I please just ask what is the best app to set Oscam or how to set up the Oscam Manager with login details?

If you have stars in your menu, you will not be able to configure the service.

Thank you very much.
I managed to install the firmware and set up CCcam settings, so a new subscription is now purchased.
The only issue I have is with the channel editor, as I get the following error message (irrelevant whether on wifi or wired connection)
