Cant get it to work

Hi,

Im having the SKY UK package, and first I tried using DVBDream with WinCSC and that worked fine, but DVDDream dont support mpeg4 for my Hauppauge HVR 4000, so had to change to ProgDVB.

In ProgDVB, mpeg4 works fine, and it finds all the channels, but WinCSC just say: "Disconnected" and I cant get it to work.

Then I tried CSC in ProgDVB. I have configured it, and when I try to watch a channel, its still locked.


I really hope that I could get some help. What do I do?

Hi,
Check codecs installed on your system. K-light codec pack is the most efficient in this case. MPEG-4 must be installed. If your software (DVB card) does not support MPEG-4 or HD, change your DVB card, it is useless.

All HD and mpeg4 FTA channels is working fine. But ProgDVB won't decrypt any of my channels using CSC.
I think the config maybe isnt right, but dont know what is wrong. I inserted all my login details into the Configure Server-tab in CSC, added them, and Saved them. But no pay channels will start.

Any ideas what Im doing wrong?

Try other versions of ProgDVB. If SkyUK worked for you with DVBDream, it must work with ProgDVB, i think

I have now tried ProgDVB 6.73, 6.74 and 6.80, but it still wont unlock the channels. :(

Now im lost.

After reading some more I saw this:

Version of ProgDVB has changed since the time when the topic with CSC description was written. I have no idea where are the required fields are located in the newer Prog versions. Check all subfolders and find something similar.

to get ProgDVB and csc to unscramble any channel. goto plugins then cardserver client then click on monitor then click on the bottom caid

Hi again.

I have now tried what GTAVCS said, and if I press "0963   0505   000000" it descramble the channel Im watching, but it seems that I have to do it every time, even on the same channel.

How do I solve that?

unfortunatly I dont know how to make the change permanent.
there are other plugins that chooses the caid automomaticly but they are all banned on this server

Hi again.

I now made a new subscription on the Canal Digital Nordic package, but I cant get it to work at all.
Is special settings needed, to get this package to work?

I just readed in an other tropic, that there is some problems with this package.
When do you think it will work again?

Ok. If its going to take a while, then can I please be changed to Viasat Nordic untill its working again?

You can send e-mail to Moderator with request to return money for Canal Digital Nordic to your balance and purchase anything else. You may also freeze your subscription for uncertain period (until it works again).
