Hi
is it possible to see free TV Channels on Astra together with VIP Czech? When I try to see RTL, PRo7 or any other I just see black screen
Thank you
-
Hi,
Depends on the satellite(s) you are tuned.
-
As you can see from my footnote I am on 28E, 23E, 19E. All of that three are Astra satellites. I can find that channels, signal is strong, but screen in black. IS there something specific what needs to be turned on?

Hi , I mean RTL, Sat1, Pro7, link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_free-to-air_channels_at_28%C2%B0E (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_free-to-air_channels_at_28%C2%B0E)

VIP Szech includes UPC Direct HD + SkyLink HD + DigiTV CZ
UPC Direct - 1W
Sky Link - 23E
DigiTV - 1W
So, how do you think - is it possible to watch free TV channels from 28E satellite if VIP Szech packages are at 1W and 23E?
Do you have any dish tuned at 28E or 19Е?
Learn http://www.lyngsat.com/ what are satellites and where are they located.
-
Yes I have. I am tunned to to 19E, 23E, 28E, 1W

Scan your satellites and watch. You need no CS for free channels. The other thing is a coverage map. I am not sure that you are able to receive all signals from all your dishes as the signal may be wide (wide beam) or narrow (narrow beam).
http://www.satbeams.com/footprints
Check the maps if your location is in the beam's coverage area
Also check if you have a diseqc and all 4 satellite cables are connected to 1 diseqc and further- to receiver.
To scan all 4 satellites, you have to have a satellites.xml file inside of your receiver with all satellite parameters (frequencies, etc)
