Hi all,
I already understood, that it is necessary to use MGCAMD 1.45c in order to make it running properly again.
I downloaded the file the CSS-team provided but now I have one question:
- how can I install the MIPS-file?
- or do I need to use the .zip-file
- the newest mgcamd-softcam on openpli is MGCAMD 1.38c
By the way I am using OpenPLI 7.0.
Can you guys maybe provide a short instruction how to use the MIPS-File.

Ok it seams there is NO 1.45x mgcamd version for ARM CPU based receiver. So i use OSCAM in future, but the ORF package not work with OSCAM and newcamd protocol - only the oscam with cccam protocal work at this time with ORF. Is this a error only i have or a problem with server?

Hello,
when u have a MIPS based receiver and use 1.38c, in the rusian sector of this forum the users say you should only copy the mips file inside the ZIP over the old 1.38c one with FTP and restart. I cannot test this i have a 4k receiver with ARM CPU. But perhaps test it.
But the easiest way is to install the OSCAM version for your box and use the cccam or newcamd protocol settings you find in the mysubcription area!

If you get it working by switching from newcamd to ccam protocol only (leave other files and configuration as it is, there is something wrong in the reader configuration
if you use ccam protocol with several caids running through one reader, you should use the paramter disablecrccws_only_for = 098C:000000 to disable this chedksum-config only for caid 098c (if you use newcamd protocol there is only caid 098c running on the reader, so no need to specify)

Oben unter deinem Benutzerlogin Logo siehst den Link "Profil" - "Forum Profil" dort solltest du unter Signatur eintragen welche Hardware verwendet wird und halt so alles was wichtig ist zu wissen. z.B. das was du geschrieben hast:

Des Weiteren habe ich nach LOG-FILE gesucht und nur einen Eintrag gefunden. Allerdings scheint die Info-Datein zerschossen zu sein.
Hast Du eine kleine Anleitung, wie ich eine LOG-File bspw. für SUMA erstelle?

Hey Gregor, schön dass es geklappt hat. Ja die beiden Kanäle sind auch bei mir dunkel. Aber denke das bekommen die schon gebacken. Das mit dem Log File ist von Receiver zu Receiver und Image anders... bei mir liegen die im TMP Ordner und werden automatisch erstellt.

I would say.... extract the file and rename the mgcamd1.45c_mips to mgcamd and copy it over the old one on your mips based receiver /usr/bin. I think this it is the binary file u get here.

vorab: Englisch liegt mir leider garnicht. Da ichauch schon fast mitte 60 bin, verstehe ich das leider nicht mehr so.
Hier meine Frage(n):
was muss ich tun, damit alles wieder so funktioniert, wie letzte Woche.
Ich habe CCcam.cfg im var/etc Ordner mit
DISABLE EMM : yes
C: serverXXX.biz port user password
C: server_XX port user password
und eine im var/key Ordner mit
C: serverXXX.biz XXX04 port user password
C: server_XX XXX04 port user password
Muss ich jetzt eine newcamd.cfg Datei in var/etc und eine newcamd.list in der var/keys anlegen?
Bitte helft und sagt mir, was ich genau machen muss. Vielen Dank.

Bin hier zwar nicht als deutscher support angestellt :-) Aber du solltest einfach über den Camfeed deiner Box die Softcam OSCAM installieren und dann die Daten aus dem Mitgliederbereich Mysubscription z.b. "Settings for emulator OSCAM for Cccam protocol" in der Datei oscam.server eintragen und fertig ist. Dort steht auch wo du sie finden kannst. Zugriff mittels FTP oder sonst wie du in die Verzeichnisstruktur kommst auf deiner Box. Und natürlich sicher stellen das auch OSCAM dann aktiv läuft und nicht die alte cccam noch aktiv ist! Im Notfall cccam deinstallieren.

hier wird englisch angeboten und russisch und ich hoffe wir bekommen kein Problem, wenn wir uns auf deutsch unterhalten......
eignetlich brauchst du gar nichts machen, weil du ja bestimmen kannst, welche Softcam verwendet werden soll. Wenn die neue automatisch läuft kannst die alten Dateien ignorieren. Nur wenn es zu problemen kommen sollte, würd ich dann über das plugin menü die cccam einfach deinstallieren. Normaler Weise kann man aber über das Softcam Menü einstellen welche aktiv sein soll.
Nachtrag:

After lots of hours, I have to say: with PC, Sky is not working at the moment. Tried Oscam via Acamd to DVBViewer, connected well, keys seems to be okay but still no picture. I hope my account wont get banned because of this, it was an experiment and I was hoping that I will find a solution and can help myself and for other users, but no, at the moment, this is not working either. This will be a serious problem for PC users with viewer application, hopefully a solution will come or this (https://www.cardsharing.cc/index.php?topic=35406.msg128395#msg128395) has something with the current situation.

I've already tried several different oscam versions, but not too much success right now.

When you unzip the Mgcamd 1.45c, the file mgcamd1.45b_mips, in which folder should be placed?
Is it placed as it is or it should be renamed?
Can anyone say if Sky Sports 1 HD is working?
My receiver is Dreambox 8000HD. Also I had installed Mgcamd 1.38.

look at:
/usr/bin
here is my mgcam 1.35 on dream 7020 HD
overwrite it (make a backup of the original)
rename it to the name it was before

what should I say
are you sure reader for ORF is configured correctly ? is this newcamd-reader connected ??
CCcam makes it easier to setup because wirh server, port,username and password the other settings are delivered by server = most likely correct.
User-config and additional files like oscam.dvbapi or oscam.server should not be a problem (if existing at all, without these files as adived by server-support also no problem or course) as it works with CCcam-protokoll
for CCcam-protokol you can watch the assigned cards (caids etc): which ident numbers do you see for 0D95 (ORFcard) ? only 000004 or anything else ?
I assume you configured the ORF reader as shown in the config: ident = 0D95:000004
Some receivers have problems with correct ident detection (usually result in 000000)
you might try to remove the parameter ident = on the newcamd ORF reader and replace it with the parameter: caid = 0D95
That could be a reason if "only switching reader to CCcam-protocol" solves the problem

Hello! Thanks for the suggestion, configured mdvbapi and yes, it can communivate with oscam, but channels are still dark for me too :( (however, its a better and beauty way than acamd + oscam)

for CCcam-protokol you can watch the assigned cards (caids etc): which ident numbers do you see for 0D95 (ORFcard) ? only 000004 or anything else ?
I assume you configured the ORF reader as shown in the config: ident = 0D95:000004
Some receivers have problems with correct ident detection (usually result in 000000)
you might try to remove the parameter ident = on the newcamd ORF reader and replace it with the parameter: caid = 0D95
That could be a reason if "only switching reader to CCcam-protocol" solves the problem

most likely mips is for Dreambox processor (and other manufacturers using the same). No idea what oe20 is about, I assume at least something about Enigma 2. By my knowledge Dreambox500hd uses MIPS (obviously there are also Dreamboxes with ARM processors available, as there is a arm_dream version available in the package).
This is only the executable file itself, no installer, so simply replace the existing Oscam-executable with the new one (rename the oscam of this package to the oscam-filename on your STB) and make sure the attributes are set to 755 or higher rights (usually a file keeps his attributes if you overwrite it, what would require at least the same amount of free memory as the new file has). Perhaps make a copy of the existing oscam-file first to be able to switch back (on Enigma I know some start-scripts checking the version of the started application, so even if it could basically run with no harm to your receiver it will not work because the start script detect wrong version. No idea how to solve this - I mean: modify/update the start script of course *g*).
Oscam for CST included in the zip-file: version ...cool-webif... for old HD1 platform (like BSE, Neo, Neo² and Zee) and cool2-webif for HD2 platform (like Tank, Trinity, Zee² and Link). Basically you can say: CST-STB with flash-memory below 30MB is HD1 platform. If the box survive depends on your knowledge ;D but the receiver will for sure not receive the new Oscam version as long as you >do not make it on your own<. Especially for HD1 platform: make sure you have enough free memory available.

After many tries, I'm not sure what's wrong and I can't see any channel from SKY DE.
My receiver is Dreambox 8000HD.
First, I installed the Mgcamd1.38 and the settings from my subscription from this section:
"Settings for emulator Mgcamd 1.45 for Newcamd protocol.
You can download Mgcamd 1.45b for mips and sh4 with LONG ECM support (idents 060A00, 050C00) for newcamd protocol.
Configuration file - /var/keys/newcamd.list:..........."
I performed a check in another channel BBC Brit on 13' East (Hotbird), by having select the Mgcamd 1.38 as a cam on my receiver. The channel opened without a problem. I performed the same check on ORF1 HD, and the channel opened without a problem. The SKY SPORTS 1 or 2 HD (on 19.2') or any other channel on SKY DE are not working.
When I tried to erase from the folder /usr/bin the file mgcamd_1.38 (type 38 File) and put the new file mgcamd1.45c_mips (type 45C_MIPS File) by rename it first (to mgcamd_1.38) then nothing is working.
I haven't installed the CCCAM on my receiver or the the CCCAM settings from my subscription.
Can someone tell me what's wrong. Is it possible someone to send me the correct file that I should put and replace the mgcamd_1.38? I'm attaching the mgcamd that I use in my receiver.

For the Dreambox 8000HD, I did the following and worked:
1. Download and install the image openpli-7.0-release-dm8000-20190422.zip from https://openpli.org/download/dreambox/DM8000
2. Download and install from blue panel the OSCAM emu.
3. Put the lines of my subscription to the oscam.server
4. Restart EMU and everything worked.

I do not have that STB but Google results say MIPS receiver = at least possible to run the new Mgcamd from https://www.cardsharingserver.com/index.php?module=cccam
On the other hand it says beside MIPS also dual core processor = not really sure that a emulator build for MIPS will do
Basically the same question for Oscam: which version (compiled for what receiver/processor do you install ?
Was the emulator at least running ? (if you run the new emulator, do you see your account online on billing center > connection history ? (for Mgcamd the configuration files should be the same, only required change is the executable file, while Oscam need new files what gives many options for errors)
Have you tried to start emulator via Telnet ? that should give you some information if the emulator is able to start/run, especially if you type setconsole first to get log output to the Telnet window.
Are you able to access Oscam WebIF ? if so, what do you see unter Status and Live Log ??
The only answer with the given information is: try harder, it's possible *g*
several users switched to Oscam (cause no Mgcamd version for there STBs available, but this might not your problem, as there is a MIPS version of Mgcamd1.45c available)
Have you installed the emulator from the menu of your box (many Enigma versions name this "blue panel" = in this case the installed version is most likely compatible to your receiver)
And if you need to use Oscam: try to configure Newcamd protocoll as shown in the config file on Your subscriptions for Newcamd + Oscam.
On this CS server Cccam-protocol often creates problems in combination with Oscam and once configured correctly it does not matter, both protocols do exactly the same = simply setup Oscam + Newcamd to avoid problems.

downloaded and installed it over the plugin download option
overwrite the file with the version 1.45 from your server ( keep the old, original name ) , set the parameters from my account to the newcamd.list
I think i have done all what should be
but the connection history of my account says no connection at all
so i guess version 1.45 will not run
a ping to your server works
i will test it within the next days by telnet and i inform you about my result.

The Mgcamd version, this MIPs Mgcamd seems to run on your STB. Application works and also detects CAPIDs/CAIDs, that seems OK.
So you should see something on connection history in billing center
a problem (that might cuts your server connection): your are not allowed to send EMMs to the server. I am not really familiar with Mgcamd but it looks like your Mgcamd is processing EMMs (that data is not used for decoding, these are card updates - and users should not send such data!)
Your mg_cfg file has to include the parameter A: { 00 } to disable updates/EMMs
and also G: { 01 } if you use Newcamd-protocol or G: { 32 } for CCcam protocol (that might be a good reason

I believe I have used that confog for this server already (Newcamd protocol, G = 01
If it's still not working: you should find mg****-files or something with ecm** in the tmp/temp Folder of your receiver - these are text files given more status informations
PS: if you have an ignore.list, replace.list, priority.list file in your config-folder: rename/remove them and try again (restart Mgcamd). These are also config-files (=text) reinstall this files only if you are sure you understand the meaning and that the configuration is correct. Basically this files are not needed (but could avoid successful decoding)

Hi there, I am using Prismcube Ruby linux reciever, I backed up my current mgcamd file from usr/local/bin and then replaced it with downloaded mgcamd_1.45_mips. Unfortunately it caused that I was not able to decode any channel (not only sky.de, but not even Skylink or anything else that worked before), so I wanted to go back to my old mgcamd version that I backed up, I copy-pasted there this old backup and rebooted the system, unfortunately it still doesnt work and I cant decode any channel from any CAID. Can someone help me, please? Thank U!

I have now installed the latest openpli image like Suma suggested me ,
download the oscam softcam, configure the file oscam.server with my account data
thats all and it works

you use FTP transfer mode binary (automatic should also do, but TEXT would be wrong) ?
you have set attributes of the file to executable (755 or 777) ?
PS, regarding libcrypto-problem
go to the folder the file is stored via Telnet connection (in my case its /lib - so Telnet command is cd /lib)
check witch version of libcrypto.so you have (perhaps easier to use FTP connection for this task)
create a symlink to the existing libcrypto and name it as required from the application (should work, at least if the installed libcrypto has a higher version number)
most likely you will also have a file or symlink libcrypto.so
that will behave the same, so create a symlink with
ln -s libcrypto.so libcrypto.so.0.9.7 (you need to be in the folder of the libcrypto.so-file via Telnet to crate a working link with this command)

there is no libcrypto.so file in the directory libs at all !
only file which sounds a litlebit like it is libcrypt-2.25.so

i have a dreambox 7020HDv2. I`ve installed mgcamd 1.38, newcamd.list filled with subscription. permission
set on 755 but sky.de isn`t working yet. i`ve read about mgcamd version 1.45c which supports sky.de.
i`ve downloaded and overwrited and named it with mgcamd1.38 as described here but it isn`t working either.
i`m not sure if anybody is familiar with dreambox. i`m working with idreamx2 for mac.
any help would be much appreciated.

ich habe schon einige Einträge gelesen und bereits probiert die Datei "mgcamd1.45c_mips" passend umzubenennen (in "mgcamd_1.35a") und in den Ordner "/usr/bin" zu kopieren. Dateirechte habe ich auch auf 755 angepasst. Leider rebootet mein Receiver immer in Dauerschleife. Mir bleibt dann nur der Weg zurück zur originalen "mgcamd_1.35a". Ich komme nicht weiter.

Unfortunately, we do not have SH4 receiver, and we cannot test Mgcamd on it. Tomorrow, you will find a test version of Mgcamd 1.45c for SH4 in the billing (cardsharingserver.com) among others versions.

Friend I tested the Mgcamd for sh4 receivers and unfortunately it crashes a lot !!!

you can update OpenSSL 0.9.7d to OpenSSL 1.1.1
mgcamd 1.45c use OpenSSL 0.9.7 and new E2 image use OpenSSL 1.1.1

Last working mgcamd for arm is 1.35a - very old :(
Is there any chance to upgrade it to a more current version?
