I'm still confused with the many builds of OSCAM.
I was using OSCAM 1.20 build 112xx with cccam, but had to change to newcamd.
So I also changed to the new OSCAM build 11517 which is on the VTI feed for my VU DUO2.
But should I use "disablecrccws = 1" or "disablecrccws_only_for = 098C:000000;09C4:000000" for OSCAM build 11517 / 11518 ???
I'm lost and need some help.

Yes, nice link but it does NOT answer my question.
I know how to setup newcamd protocol with OSCAM, but which build number to use?
It says "2. Download Oscam via feed of your receiver's firmware." , but it does not say
anything about build 112xx or 113xx or 114xx or even to use the most recent feed version 11517.

They include a million versions, use the recent one

But should I use "disablecrccws = 1" or "disablecrccws_only_for = 098C:000000;09C4:000000" for OSCAM build 11517 / 11518 ???
The parameter disablecrccws is the older one, so it will work with older Oscam version (not all available!). I think it comes 2009 or 2011 (have forgotten again, use Google *g*)
>>disablecrccws_only_for =<< is an update to the former disablecrccws parameter that comes with newer Oscam of course but is also available for many years now !
Using Newcamd protocol you should use diableccrccws-parameter ON THE SKY-DE cs-line (the once with caid/ident 098C ad not on all cs-lines!!)
Using CCcam-protocol = several CAIDS/cards on the same connection, not possible to split, so use the parameter >disablecrccws_only_for< (at least if you have several cards/subscription or a VIP package, if you ONLY have a direct subscription only for Sky-DE it does not matter what you use as there is only one CAID/IDENT. But with several single subscription or a VIP subscription (putting several single subscriptions together in a package) = several CAIDs on that ONE connection to the server use "disable.....only_for".
Of course only if your Oscam version support it at all / support the "only_for-version" as well

Thanks Jogi, exactly the Info I was looking for :)
