Openbox s10

Hi, i just got the openbox s10 and im trying to setup mgcamd but i can't get it to work. Do i need to upgrade it's firmware (it is currently 30/06/11)?
Should i turn DHCP on? Or do i need to turn the card-slot off? (I don't know how to do this)

I have put in the correct information in newcamd.list and uploaded it. I have also tried rebooting a few times, but i still see scrambled! on the $channels.

Thanks. I thought you meant there is an Openbox support forum on this site.
I was so happy i got it to work. I saw newcamd in green on the now and next bar. But then it stopped working after 2 minutes! I just find this very strange and frustrating.
I dont know if this problem is caused by the box (which i have now updated to the latest firmware-08/08/11) or my router.

No, this is not support forum of any receivers. This is cardsharing forum where sharing issues are discussed. Typically, users post manuals by themselves, we just provide general questions.
You need to download ignore-priority lists from our forum and use mg_cfg settings provided on the forum as well.
Start reading FAQ and issues regarding mgcamd settings.

Funny you should mention the ignore list. I deleted it, rebooted the box, and now i can see some previously blocked channels! (not all of them. But i guess there will be duplicates that work)
Regarding the mg_cfg settings, i don't even know how to configure that on the openbox, but i am content with what i have now.

All these files: ignore.list, priority.list, newcamd.list, and mg_cfg are located (should be) in the same folder. You have to access your openbox using, probably, total commander or any other software by ftp protocol to open and edit mg_cfg and other files. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with Openbox structure. That is why I recommended you to address any support forum of Openboxes.
