Sky Sports F1 HD yesterday

A few minutes before the race started the coverage started freezing and then just permanently froze. Was still like this even after the race had finished.

All other channels worked fine.
A friend using this service also had identical problem.
Happened during the last race as well, although it was fixed during the red flag period.
SD F1 channel working fine.

There seems to be a big problem with this channel whenever a race is being shown live. Server load perhaps?

Why are you talking about the problem if it occurred yesterday? I can't understand some users who talk afterwards. Today it is already not actual, since it is today. Why do you post without log-file? Just to post? Next time, such posts without log-file and confirmation of the problem (if any) will be simply deleted. Please remember this and try to post (including log) DURING the problem, not after it has gone. Look at SkyDe thread and you will see that users are posting current problems, and we solved the problems at the time when they occurred.

My Openbox doesn't produce log files, otherwise I would have included them.

There is some sort of problem happening right now in fact. I can't access Sky News HD, Sky Sports (anything) or Sky Movies. Yet Discovery Turbo works.

It's bizarre how I can go for days or weeks with zero problems then all of a sudden channels stop working.

BTW for the Sky F1 HD I am using SID 3835 which should be the correct one (i.e. not a broken duplicate).

I can confirm this problem, it occurs every race weekend during a race or qualifing. The only reason for my subsrciption was sky f1 hd, 3 race weekends further, not without issues. Everything else work like a charm, but as you can see in my server log, i dont care about the rest of the package.

We cannot guarantee the quality if emulator which is not tested with our server is used. Looking at your signature, you are using mgcamd 1.37. Please point me out where on the forum it is recommended?

I know, you told me once, and that is the reason i dont complain anymore. The once i did (during the malaysian GP) i posted it, and it took an hour or so on server side to get the things working. Now i only confirmed the problem, thats all.

The reason for using 1.37 is because 1.35a doesn´t work. It doesnt make any contact, by accident I figured out 1.37 was working for me, no stutters, no 1000times connection. I would love to get 1.35a to work, but al the steps i followed didn´t work out.

Then, you have to post in Hardware section, not here, because this is a problem with your hardware. Open Hardware section and read all topics re: VU+ firmware etc, maybe you need to change firmware in order to make it working?

Other channels are running fine.

I see in your signature that you are using Gemini 3. This is original preinstalled image. Moreover, you are using newcamd on oscam ymod. Use mgcamd 1.35a! Why other users do not have problems with SkySports F1 HD, but only you have? Don't you think that it's high time to change image or emulator or both? Until you are using original Gemini image, please don't ask for any help. It was told a million times before - change image! never use original Gemini image! If you insist on using it, it's your problem.

This is not an original gemini image but a GP3-ramimaher mod, and the problem is definetely not with the image. I am not the only one having problems, you can see in this and other threads that people have problems with that channel in the weekends, when there is a race.
Next time when there is a problem i will provide you with mgcamd 1.35a log, but again, the problem was not there.

By the way, the channel is now working fine, lets see how it goes during the race today..

Race hasn't even started, it's 12:19 right now and race starts at 1PM!

Same issues here - F1 HD not working and F1 SD occasionally freezing.

I know my setup isn't supported, but it does usually work fine..

It also works for me every other time but has constant freezes. I have no problem with the other Sky Sports HD channels, just with F1 HD.
Maybe the others should confirm/deny about this..

Hello , i can confirm.
It all went pretty good for weeks and Minutes before qualifying for the monaco GP started it stoped working. Right now it is still not woking as before but it is a bit better. (during GP2 race) The are a still quite a few glitches.
