SKY UK HD NOT WORKING

Are you now aware there is a problem on server 5 connections for Sky UK? Can you give us an idea of when this will be sorted so I can let users know when to expect the channels back on.

I have also heard from other users who are on server2 that they are not getting any Sky UK subscription channels aswell.

Please PROVE it!

We checked server 5, we checked HD - everything works!
Check the reason why it does not work for you - ping to the server, internet connection, etc.
Be noted that in some cases, instead of server No., you need to add IP address - it is useful for some types of receivers.

Those using server 2 are recommended to change it in the billing. If you feel that server 2 is down, select other server via the billing and don't forget that new server becomes active within the nearest hour.

I understand your replies but Do you not think it is strange that there was posts of channels not working from different areas of the UK, aswell as different internet providers for each user and they all had problems, or would you just call this a coincidence!! I think by so many people reporting it "Does not work" would be some indication there was a fault somewhere.

Regarding the log file I will indeed provide one in the future as requested as I didn't know this was a requirement to report a fault. But please consider some people that use your services are just end users and only know how to use their box for watching channels.

Also I think server 2 seems more stable than server 5 at the moment over last 2 weeks it has had a lot of sticking on channels from server 5, only an observation not a criticism.

"Does not work" does not mean that it does not really work for everybody. As you said, it depends on internet in general, internet provider in particular, some of users forgot to mark some item in their settings, some of users forgot to start up emulator, some of users do not know how to set up their box at all, etc etc. There can be a million of reasons - why.... And nobody has explained what did they do, they never describe their settings... What can I personally do for this? I am just asking everybody to complete signature: specify your receiver, firmware, emulator, server No. etc in your signature. I have to ask this question each time when I see empty signature. I am alone here, you are tens, hundreds and maybe southands over here. Is it too difficult? No, I think. The same thing with "does not work" - we ask everybody to provide log-file to find out and study the problem, if any. One user tells that server 5 does not work for him. I provide the log where it is clearly seen that there is no problem with server 5. If we have any problems with server 2, for example, I am asking and recommending to switch the server and change it to the other one. Thanks GOD, we have several servers, and there is a choice in the billing. You see that internet connection is good in one area and it is sooo bad in the other one... I don't think, the problem was global. If so, the forum would have been crashed because of 1,000s of users online.
Read the forum and make a picture for yourself that half of the posts are about nothing. One user complains that Penthouse and Erox channels stopped working in Satellite BG package. How is it possible, if we never offerred them in the package, and in the billing, everybody can see that the package comes without porno channels!!! This is just an example. And you can see a lot of such posts, because users are not attentive. They just bought the package and think that if they paid money, we have to provide them full service... No, sorry...
So, the problem with internet connection was solved, as i can see. Everybody is happy. Please don't forget that i am alone here (i mean, as admin for English forum), though i am here for more than 6 years so far... And, please, respect the people who are trying to make YOU happy with our service. Please....
