VIP All 3 day test,
Currently cannot open any channels, login is accepted by server ecm sent 47 bytes, Key received all looks ok, but screens are all black, tried lots of sats and packages, please advise?

All information was provided apart from log file as Protek doesnt dump one out so I typed what was being shown in the emu screen
Protek 9750 HD ip

ecms are sent and replies come back with key received every 7-10 sconds, responses from the server are immediate
Protocol Newcamd
But the channels do not clear all remain black, despite a key being received, if I switch the other server back on that I currently have a sub with the channels are decoded, so box is working without issue

Unfortunately, the model of your receiver is not well known. The only thing i can suggest that you have to ask other users on the forum with the same or similar receiver. You may create a separate thread Re: Protek 9750 HD in the HARDWARE section and exchange information on your receiver.

from where it is clear which encryprion is used, what is CAID of the provider etc.

Bizarre, put the server details in my Dreambox decoded channels without issue, put same details in Protek gets key but screen stays blank, other sub server that I currently I have working without issue from another provider :(

Guys.
I purchased as a test a subscription to this package, so that i could test out the sats at 5e and 9e.
But, although i can connect to the server OK, Login OK and caids are OK, nothing is clearing on 19e, 13e or 9e ?
Also does the subscription include Penthouse packs as there is no connection details in 'My subscriptions

I have already tested Hotbird package and it all worked fine, as well as currently having a skyUK subscription, which is working great too;D
Just the new test that fails ? Dont have another box to test unfortunatley
Also add that cyfra+ is working fine from the test ?

The only thing I can tell you exactly- there is NO PROBLEM with the server. Look for the reason in your equipment. The same thing happenned to the Arriva HD receivers until they upgraded the new firmware. Suddenly, picture disappeared and they started send their reclamation and blame US.
NO, guys, check first your equipment. You see on the forum- there is NO claims from other users. All Protek owners sit and keep silence, because they understood that the problem is in their devices.

All other packages are working on the channels that i can get except 19e.
I was not saying there was a problem with servers as i can connect fine, just seeing if other users had issues with clearing channels. As the Protek 9700/50 receivers are new to newcamd, I would expect some problems and this is the first time?
other question though is Penthouse part of the VIP Germany as there is no reference to it in the details of my subscription

After Penthouse changed encryption (to Viaccess), the channels are no more available in Vip Germany, Holland, and Eurosib respectively. However, the channels are available in all other VIPs (all, lite, Russia, and Vip Porno until they have the same IDENT as SCT have).

Unfortunatley no log files on the protek or if there is i cant access them?
I am connected to another server for SkyDE (1833) and that works well, so dont know what the problem is.
Not worried as it is a test and that is what tests are for.

If you are using services of other server, you may ask them how to...log-file. Maybe they are more experienced in Protek receivers

mate am having Protek 9750 and it was working correct with this very server without problem , only that the package i wanted is not working with Newcamd thats was the reason, i still have my line now but am not using it , because the package is not opening with the receiver, all in hotbard work, Asatra 19 work , astra 28 great, but Thor and Viasat is not working with protek, check ur system very well , it works

Got my all in vip subscription - I get nothing in thor 1*w, intelsat 0.8*w, sirius 4.8*e or Digiturk 7*e althought I get 3 of the 4 Penthouse channels on 9*e on hotbird I get sky calcio 2,3 and 4 no other sky channels, I get private spice nothing on 16*e and not a lot on 19*e astra so really I am not very happy! o.k I understand that my equipment is not recognized by cardsharing cc but surely as there are more and more of us guyz that have the protek 9700 and 9750 HD ip boxes should have a bit more support from your end as well as just saying 'check your equipment' as our equipment works perfectly with the proetk servers! It also works with your servers as I get green light on all ports and ok connections and <caid> ok and keys sent and recived ok so why do I have Black Screen???

Hello, the only question to you - were all channels working for you when you took a 3 day test?
Why do you think that we have to provide a bit more support for this receiver? We are cardsharing server and we do not support any receivers. We provide you with general settings required for cardsharing based on the most wide spread receivers - Dreamboxes, Openboxes which were used 3-4-5 years ago, not the receivers which were just manufactured. We do not know and we are not obliged to know every receiver in the world. I will repeat- we are not technical support of this model nor of any other almost unknown model. Do you suggest us to buy this receiver and study it? Thank you! We have better receivers and we know how to set them up. That is why we ask everybody with a new model to ask technical support of the model purchased. There is a lot of forums Re: Dreambox, Openbox, Ferguson etc. The users who cannot receive sufficient information here, usually address to the other forums. But this is not our blame that we do not know Protek, we do not know Ariva 200 HD etc unknown receivers. We provide only general sharing information suitable for the most of receivers. So, I will ask you again and again- for more technical information, please address support forums of your receiver! We do not know which firmware is the best or better than the one availabe now. Look for the internet, other forums, other users' feedback on this model before you start using this model. Finally, read the forum Re: the most used models for you to know - which are the best and which are not.

Hi suma,
I am asking for help to get my subscription to work properly as I said I get green lights on all the ports I enter into my protek and it says 'log in ok' but I cannot see anything on my screen!!! Do I need to do anyhting more? As I said the only channel that I can see is Private Spice and the others I mentioned before also it seems to freeze every 30 / 45 seconds for a 1 / 2 seconds.
I just want help to view the other packages on the other satellites. Also one more question on the packages in your price list which channels do we get? or is it ALL the channels in that package?

Re: freezes - you may ask, for example, fine4all user - what is his configuration?
Unfortunately, I don't know this model and I cannot suggest you exact "medicine" against freezes for Protek.
To study the problem, i need a log-file which, unfortunately, no one of the users with Protek has ever provided me.
I also have no idea- how to make a log-file from Protek. That is why i suggest you to visit Protek related forums and ask these questions there.
Vip All includes everything available on the server (refer to the billing system).

As i understood, Protek supports CCCam
"...are excellent receivers, especially with the last update and full client support for latest CCcam..." which is not recommended for use with our server. We support mgcamd and camd3 only.
"The 9700, I beleive it can be made to support newcamd although doesn't 'out the box', CCcam no and afraid is not likely to in the future either. They are great for what they do, but they are unlikely to ever add any 'features' to what they already have in the future, though you can make suggestions on their forum, but in reality I think it's unlikely to happen with CCcam."

On 30 January 2011, I purchased a 3 months subscription for the following package:
Canal Digital Nordic HD 1W (fin)
After cardsharingserver confirmed the server name, port details, username and password, these were duly entered into the newcamd menu on the Protek.
I waited the required time (+ an additional 10 hours) before trying to log on to the cardsharing server, but without any success.
I downloaded all channels from all transponders in the package, and have gone through them one by one. None of the channels clear....
I have set up newcamd correctly (double and triple checked all details), and get green light against the server in the protek newcamd menu and the following details at the bottom of the screen:
"Resolved IP and Login Username and Password, Login:OK <caid=0B00>”
I am not receiving any error code; and no "key received" message
I have tried to disconnect and reconnect to the cardsharing server by pressing the red button
Beyond the "Login Username and Password, Login:OK <caid=0B00>"; I receive NOTHING - no keys, no log file, absolutely nothing. And no channels in the package clear.
Please can someone help.

I would like to add my perspective to the mix.
I don't think it could be a problem with the protek boxes, i have been using the newcamd feature for around a month without any problems. I have had a few freezes here and there, nothing major and resetting the newcamd server always fixes the problem.
No one here seems to have problems viewing hotbird or astra so is the problem with Thor or Viasat being on a different system? It seems strange it doesn't happen on astra or hotbird.

Maybe it's a problem with Thor or Viasat, but there is no problem with these satellites (or signals) for other users having different receivers. So, we think that this is a problem with Protek as it was a problem with Ariva 200 HD until they issued a new patch (or firmware). Refer to the thread Re: Ariva 200 HD. The similar problem - keys are received but no image on the screen. Now, after they updated their firmware- everything is OK.
P.S. The user greatdane is banned forever. Rules violation. Moreover, he posted openly server IP, port No., and his login-password!!! What can we say if the users do not read the rules of the server! This is warning for other users who does not care about RULES - the main principle of our server...

as said previously i have been running a few tests before deciding on which packages to purchase.
I have found the following
UK/Italy/Poland - excellent, but tonight Poland doesn't seem to be connecting or decoding ( ports nnnn2 & nnnn3 )
From my tests, i have found that Germany did not work at all, this not a problem for protek users, as the 9700 opens these channels as part of it setup. This maybe a clash between the protek reciever and newcamd?
The newcamd function on the 9700 is new, only been in use for the last few weeks, .
We have asked the protek developers if it is possible to switch off their function to avoid any possible clash with newcamd.
Also, the protek only uses Newcamd and NOT Cccam
we are all still learning on what is a new box for the mods and new function for us protek users ;D

I'm still experiencing problems! BUT now I know that it is not at your end but at our Protek end conflict of stb box! So I am going to carry on trying to resolve my issues by trying different firmwares and softwares for the rest of this month. Come next month hopefully I'll have found packages that work well with Protek and subscribe to them.
It would be a good idea if you dedicated a section for Protek users who can then share their experiences with the board and also input packages that work / or not work for their Proteks whether it be 9700 or 9750 models.

Has anyone tested the Protek on the CONAX packages on THOR or SIRIUS?
Apparently there is a fix on the new s/w and the conax bug has been fixed so it would be helpful to Protek users to know if this fix works!!

Hi, yes, working Private Spice is at 10723 H 29900 (13E) and you have valid subscription.
Are you using ignore-priority lists from our server?

P.S. You posted your message in Problems with sharing thread. There is no problem on the server. Your message has been moved to the corresponding thread Re: Protek receiver. The problem is in your hardware (firmware in particular). Ask other users with the same receiver - which FW is used. I think, the problem is there.
Also, your signature is not complete - add subscription, EMU used, FW. next time when you have any question, i am not going to ask you this information one more time. It shall be available in your signature.

You can check and compare the port No. in the billing system, Just copy and paste all you have in the billing to the newcamd.list or whatever file in your config file.
For information: never write the port No. in your messages openly, it is not allowed.
What kind of problem do you have with Sky Italia?
In your signature it written that NO EMU. How can you use sharing without EMU????? If there is no emu in your receiver at all, sharing is not possible... So, if the problem was on our side, you would see a lot of posts regarding that problem. No such posts...sorry. Nobody is claiming against Private Spice, nobody is claiming against SkyItalia...
