MGcamd Configuration to load SoftCam.Key
« : 01 Августа 2014, 10:36:37 »
Hi,

As far as I am concern, Mgcamd 1.35 should load SoftCam.Key by default but this is not happening for me, it good to mention that my Receiver ( IPBox 01 HD with latest Sifteam Firmware based on DGS ) which does not have access to Internet so the only choise that I have is using SoftCam.Key

This the procedure that I went through.
First of all installed MgCamd 1.35 and then downloaded the latest SoftCam.Key from this topic and put here ( /var/keys ) and changed the whole files' permission in that directory to 755.

Unfortunately after all these effort nothing come out of it :(

This is my mg_cfg configuration ( apart from mg_cfg every other file copied without any changes ) and this this is my log file.

Hi,
it good to mention that my Receiver ( IPBox 01 HD with latest Sifteam Firmware based on DGS ) which does not have access to Internet

If your receiver has no internet connection, the only choice for you (if you want cardsharing) is MPCS software (to be installed on your PC).
Typically, we recommend all users to delete Softcam.key as it prevents receiver from sharing via internet.
You have to determine whether you use sharing OR you use softcam. Both options are not recommended (though, possible).
The settings that you get from the billing when taking a free test or making subscription, must be used in emulator built-in to your receiver. If you cannot physically set up emulator for sharing, you need to adjust it by enabling it for sharing. Be sure that your receiver can be adjusted for sharing by enabling EMU.
First, take a free test and try to adjust EMU (receiver) and MPCS (PC) communication.
You will find more information on MPCS here https://www.cardsharing.cc/index.php?topic=1362.0
Don't even try to use only softcam.key if you want sharing to work, we recommend to delete it at all. These are two things incompatible.

Hi,

First of all, Thanks for such a quick reply.
The problem is there isn't any permanent link between my Laptop and the Receiver and I only use Ethernet Link to transfer files via FTP. So right now using the SoftCam option is available for me. Beside to tell you the truth, I'm not that much into TV and I just want to open some Digiturk channels on Eutelsat W3A (7.0°E) which I found the keys are available in SoftCam.Key and surprisingly works for folks. ( Anyways I attached the SoftCam.Key if you want to look at )

I want to ask you despite the routine help me to config my IPBox and Mgcamd to serve in this way.

Thanks In Advance

You found card-sharing server (we are exactly what you found).
We are dealing with card-sharing ONLY. Cardsharing supposes internet connection.
Unfortunately, we don't know how to use softcam with the model of your receiver, as it is beyond our competence.
You need to google and find out any support forums of your receiver. I believe, you will find all answers to your question.
Here, we consult our users how to set up their receivers properly in order to get the service they bought on our server.
