This is exactly happening to me.
But, when i load the presaved settings from here, it works. So there must be something additional to be checked/unchecked to make channel list to appear.
I would rather go with clean install and my settings, but I cant figure out how to make the channels visible in the bouquet list either.

1. Introduction

We have prepared for you a ready-made OpenATV 7.0 firmware with Oscam-Icam installed and configured for Vu+ Zero 4k (ARM cpu).

Attention! After using our backup, all data on your receiver will be deleted! Including your scanned channels, etc. Therefore, before installing, we strongly recommend that you make a full backup of your receiver!

After using our backup, you will need to make some settings – if necessary, change the configuration of your tuner, as well as specify your data for connecting to the CS server.

If you don’t have a Vu+ Zero 4k receiver, please use other article!

2. Firmware installation on Vu+ Zero 4k
  • Format your USB stick with a FAT32 file system
  • Download the USB image from HERE
  • Extract the USB image (it is a .zip archive) on your PC using your favorite unzip tool to the root directory of your USB stick. The result is that you get a directory vuplus and in this directory you find a directory zero4k in which you find the necessary files.
  • Power off the receiver.
  • Ensure no other USB devices are plugged into the receiver while flashing
  • Insert the USB stick containing the image files into one of the USB ports on the receiver, rear USB port is advised if possible.
  • Power on the receiver.
  • The WHITE VU+ logo will quickly flash two or three times then start to fade in and out slowly.
  • Once completed the WHITE VU+ logo will flash rapidly.
  • Power off the receiver, remove the USB stick, and power on the receiver again.
  • Now you can start to configure the Zero 4K. See instructions below (Go to step 3)

3. Setting up the receiver after flashing

3.1 Tuner Configuration

If, after flashing and turning on the receiver, the “kabel eins” channel did not work for you, then you need to change the tuner settings. To do this, go to the MENU -> Setup -> Reception -> Tuner Configuration section and configure your tuner.



3.2 Obtaining the IP address of the receiver

By default, the receiver should obtain a network address automatically (DHCP). To find out, you need to go to the section MENU -> Information -> Network



Connection status must be Up / Active, IP address must be defined (In my case it is 192.168.1.219)

If for some reason your receiver did not receive an address automatically, then you need to set up the network manually. This can be done in the section MENU -> Setup -> System -> Network -> Device Settings -> Adapter Settings



3.3 Setting up the Oscam

You need to add your access parameters to Oscam. To do this, open the Oscam Web Interface in a browser using the IP of your receiver. Oscam Web Interface is located on port 8080. In my case it is:

http://192.168.1.219:8080/

Login: admin
Password: icam2022

You need to go to the Files -> oscam.server section, specify your connection data taken from the billing and click the Save button.

ATTENTION! We found that sometimes when using oscam-icam the channels freeze for 7 seconds. We do not yet understand the nature of this error, we will check it. But it is known for sure that it only happens when you connect to the server using the cccam protocol. If you connect to the server using the Newcamd protocol, then this error does not occur. Therefore, if you have freezing images for 7 seconds – connect to the server using the Newcamd protocol!



Don’t forget to click the Save button!

4. Reboot the receiver

Please reboot the receiver completely after setup. Do not turn off the receiver from the socket, but reboot it through the menu MENU -> Standby / Restart -> Reboot

After rebooting the receiver, you can go to the Sky Deutschland iCAM bouquet and enjoy watching.




5. Additional Information

Installed firmware has a root password for remote access via SSH / Telnet:

Login: root
Password: icam2022

We recommend that you change the root password, and restrict or disable remote access if you do not need it.

  • Ensure no other USB devices are plugged into the receiver while flashing
  • Insert the USB stick containing the image files into one of the USB ports on the receiver, rear USB port is advised if possible.
  • When you enter the recovery menu then it will force to install the image from local USB stick. On OpenATV firmware you should go to Menu -> Setup -> Software Management -> Flash Online and choose Backup image openatv-7.0-zgemmah11s-backup-20220915_1322_usb.zip from the USB stick
  • After flashing receiver will be rebooted.
  • Remove the USB stick
  • Now you can start to configure the receiver. See instructions below (Go to step 3)

2. Firmware installation for Vu+ Zero (MIPS cpu)
   
  • Format your USB stick with a FAT32 file system
  • Download the USB image from HERE
  • Extract the USB image (it is a .zip archive) on your PC using your favorite unzip tool to the root directory of your USB stick. The result is that you get a directory vuplus and in this directory you find a directory zero in which you find the necessary files.
  • Disconnect all USB flash drives connected to your receiver.
  • Insert the prepared USB stick into the back of your VU+ Zero receiver
  • Switch your VU+ Zero off (power-off, not stand-by!). Or choose restart in your receiver: Menu -> Standby / Restart -> Restart and go directly to step 8
  • Switch your VU+ Zero on
  • The white led will quickly flash two or three times then start to fade in and out slowly.
  • The flashing is done when the led light rapidly blinks on the front panel.
  • Switch the power off and on again to reboot.
  • Please not: if after the reboot the Vu hangs on the Vu flash logo, then power down, using the power switch, wait for 20 seconds and then power on again and OpenATV will boot nicely
  • Go to step 3 - Setting up the receiver after flashing

1. Introduction

We have prepared for you an universal backup for any Enigma2 receiver with OpenATV 7.0 firmware with MIPS or ARM cpu.

Attention! After using our backup, all data on your receiver will be deleted! Including your scanned channels, etc. Therefore, before installing, we strongly recommend that you make a full backup of your receiver!

After using our backup, you will need to make some settings – if necessary, change the configuration of your tuner, as well as specify your data for connecting to the CS server.

NOTE: Right now the Icam version of OScam is not working on Dreambox 920 and other receivers with DMIPS processor. We are looking for a solution…

2. Restoring from an universal backup for any Enigma2 receiver with OpenATV 7.0 firmware (MIPS and ARM)
   
  • In order to use our backup, you need to install OpenATV 7.0 firmware on your receiver. We used OpenATV 7.0 firmware dated September 10, 2022. Download and install OpenATV 7.0 from the official site – https://www.opena.tv/downloads/. If you already have an earlier version of OpenATV, then upgrade to version 7.0 using Menu -> Setup -> Software Management -> Flash Online
  • Format your USB stick with a FAT32 file system
  • Insert the USB stick to your receiver
  • Make a backup of your receiver’s settings on a USB stick. To do this, use the function Menu -> Setup -> Software Management -> Backup System Settings. You should see a message on the screen – Backup Complete.
  • Remove the USB stick from the receiver and insert into your PC
  • Download from our site a ready-made backup for receivers with an ARM processor or receivers with a MIPS processor
  • Go to USB stick. You will see the backup_openatv_BOXMANE folder (e.g. backup_openatv_vuuno4k for VU+ UNO 4k). Go to this folder and replace the enigma2settingsbackup.tar.gz file with the one you downloaded from our site (delete the file from the flash drive and put the enigma2settingsbackup.tar.gz file that you downloaded from our site into this folder).
  • Insert the USB stick to your receiver
  • Go to Menu -> Setup -> Software Management -> Restore System Settings. The receiver will ask you – “Are you sure you want to restore the backup?”. Answer – YES
  • ATTENTION! After the backup is restored, the receiver will ask – “Backup plugins found. Do you want to install?”. Answer – NO. It is important!!!
  • Receiver will be restarted automatically.  Now you can remove the USB stick from the receiver.
  • Go to step 3

1. Downloading the emulator Oscam Icam

2. Installing the emulator

Oscam emulator with Icam support can be installed on almost any Enigma2 receiver, regardless of firmware. In our example, we will be installing the emulator on a Vu+ ZERO 4k receiver with OpenBh 5.1.008 firmware.

2.1 Installing the emulator through command line

To install the emulator manually, you need to have access to the receiver via telnet or ssh. You also need to have an installed version of the Oscam emulator. For example, I have oscam-stable installed. If you don’t have Oscam installed, install it via softcam menu.

Unpack the ZIP archive downloaded above on your PC. Inside the archive you will find two folders – bin, config and bouquets

Next, you must replace the executable file on your receiver with a new file from the archive… First, find where the oscam executable file is located in your receiver. It is usually located in /usr/bin/ or /usr/softcams/ folder. In my case, this is /usr/softcams/oscam-stable

Rename the local file oscam-icam-arm.bin (or oscam-icam-mipsel.bin for MIPS receiver) in bin folder exactly the same as you have in the receiver. In my case, I renamed the file to oscam-stable

Upload the file to the receiver, overwriting the one that is there.

Set the permissions on the file to 755. You can do this by running the command in telnet or ssh:

chmod 755 /usr/softcams/oscam-stable
Use path to your Oscam instead of /usr/softcams/oscam-stable

2.2 Checking if the emulator is running

Login to the receiver using telnet or ssh. Try running the emulator. In my case, I have to run the command:

/usr/softcams/oscam-stable
If you see an error like:

/usr/softcams/oscam-stable: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.0.9.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Then you need to put the correct link to the libcrypto.so library To do this, depending on your firmware, you need to run the command (in my case):

ln -s /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.2 /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8
or

ln -s /lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.2 /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8
or  (for example for DreamBox DM900)

ln -s /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0 /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8
On OpenPLI firmware I had another problem. The emulator did not start, gave an error:

/usr/bin/oscam-stable: not found
To fix this error, run the command:

ln -s /lib/ld-linux.so.3 /lib/ld-linux-armhf.so.3

If the emulator starts normally, you should see something like this in the console:

Press Ctrl+C to stop the emulator. Let’s move on to setting up the configuration files.

3. Setting up the configuration files

Find the location of your Oscam configuration files. They are usually located in the /etc/tuxbox/config/ folder. In my case, the files are located in the /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam-stable/ folder.

In the previously downloaded archive in the config folder you will find an approximate configuration. In order for oscam-icam to work, you need to make changes to the following files on your receiver:

    oscam.conf – open this file, before the [dvbapi] section, add the following lines:

[radegast]
port = 9090
allowed = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255
user = icam

[streamrelay]
stream_ecm_delay = 0
stream_relay_ctab = 098D

Please do not delete [global] and [dvbapi] sections! Otherwise, you will not be able to watch non-icam channels (HD+, ORF, etc.)

    oscam.user – open this file on your receiver, add the following lines to the end of the file:

[account]
user = icam
keepalive = 1
group = 1

Please do not delete existing users – existing [account] sections!  Otherwise, you will not be able to watch non-icam channels (HD+, ORF, etc.)

    oscam.server – open this on your receiver file and completely replace it with the config from your billing account!
   
    Please delete files oscam.dvbapi and oscam.whitelist if exist

4. Configuring Emigma2 parameters

You need to properly configure Enigma2’s advanced options. This can be done using the remote control in the receiver settings or via the emigma2 web interface.

In different firmware, the menu item is called differently. For example, in OpenATV 7.0 you need to go to Menu -> Setup -> Usage & GUI -> Customize System Settings section.

In my case (OpenBH) it is MENU -> Setup -> System -> Customise

The following parameters must be set:

    Include ECM in http streams – YES
    Descramble sending http streams – NO
    Descramble receiving http streams – NO
    Require authentication for http streams – NO



Or by Web interface:



5. Creating a bouquet, adding a channel list.

Go to /etc/enigma2 directory on your receiver and open bouquets.tv file. At the end of the file, add the line:

#SERVICE 1:7:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "userbouquet.SkyDeIcam.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
Then upload the userbouquet.SkyDeIcam.tv file to the /etc/enigma2 folder

You can also export the channel list using the DreamboxEdit program.
