Hi Everybody
I have a Dreambox DM900 with arm CPU, Installed OpenaTV 6.0 from Here: http://images.mynonpublic.com/openatv/current/index.php?open=dm900 (http://images.mynonpublic.com/openatv/current/index.php?open=dm900), then i installed the OSCam enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-11284-linuxsat_openatv_armv7ahf-vfp-neon.ipk from here: https://www.dragteam.info/threads/oscam-for-arm-based-receivers-ipk.199694/ (https://www.dragteam.info/threads/oscam-for-arm-based-receivers-ipk.199694/)

I added the config file to scam.server, which looks like this:

Hi,
The thing is that for this type of receiver, various firmwares are written with various binary files. Only by experimenting with these "toys", you will be able to adjust emulator and will be able to run it. The soft is very raw and for particular firmware, you will need particular files.
As the receiver is new and is not wide spread so far, we cannot recommend you any particular settings and adjustment.
Take a free test and keep experimenting further. Free test can be taken even every day. You have a lot of time.

Hi,
I have the same receiver and I tested many of those Softacm/ oscam etc. but no success. before I purchase this receiver I read in Cccam cardsharing web site that DM900 is comply with cardsharing specification and it works but and now I see here something else. im almost disappointed, cause I tested many of those plugins etc and many times I went to risk that my box will never work again but every time I was lucky and could rescue the receiver(latest issue I had to use mini USB for service to rescue it). please give us some hint to set up this type o receiver.

As the DM900 is not widespread yet and has almost zero support, how can we suggest you anything? You will have to wait until support will issue some firmware with proper MgCamd or Cccam support.
Currently, we just only can tell you that we are sorry you bought almost unsupported receiver.

then I recommend to remove this type of receivers from the most widespread receivers supporting cardsharing!

DM900 was never included in none of our lists of recommended receivers (at that time, it did not exist at all)

Can you provide the link where in particular on our forum this information is written?
1,000,000 receivers support cardsharing, I agree.
As for DM900, it also supports cardsharing (among that million). But it does not mean that our particular CS is compatible with this receiver. It is compatible, I know it for sure, because some particular users COULD finally adjust DM900 for our CS.
Unfortunately, you will not find any tutorial here because those single users do not want (or cannot) share this information. As for admins, we too have no idea how to set up your receiver as it is not widespread. There is actually no information in internet re:DM900.
I recommend you to wait for better times when there is enough support for your DM900.

well, thank you anyway. it seems that I have no other choice. I will wait and in same time will try all Oscams and possibilities and see, maybe I will find something and will share it with others ;D ;D

it works 100%
1) download another firmware Dream Elite 6.0
2) and install enigma2-plugin-softcams-dream-elite-6.0-oscam-11329
3) Copy your access data into etc / tuxbox / conf / oscam.server (Please use the newcamd protocol)
4 Then restart the dreambox dm900
5) that's it. I use it also on my dreambox dm 900 and it works great.

should I put it in tmp folder and install it with thios command (dpkg -i /tmp/*deb)? or there is another method to install it?
could you please explain me about this line as well?(Copy your access data into etc / tuxbox / conf / oscam.server (Please use the newcamd protocol)) I mean about newcamd protocol. I know Cccam and MgCamd but I did not use newcamd before

the tuxbox contains a config folder. inside the config folder I have 3 files. Oscam.conf, oscamserver and oscam user. Oscam user is empty nothing is written inside.. could you please inform me what to do?

There are cccam and newcamd protocol it goes with both but I would recommend you to use newcamd settings

that's right, Turn the receiver off for a short time and then turn it on again.Go to the encrypted sender and start oscam then it must work.If it does not work then you do something wrong. I use these settings and it goes 100% with all packete

I have new problem with DM900. its related to flashing a new image. I wanted to flash a new image but when I put the dm900 in rescue mode and I put the my dm900 IP in my pc browser it can not connect to Dreambox web site to browse and choose a new image. any idea where can be the problem?

This is A,B,C of Dreamboxes (as well as any other linux based receivers).
You need to download dreamelite 6.0 firmware to your PC from internet. Google will help you.
Usually, firmware is packed to .zip or .rar archives. You need to unrar the archive on your PC.
Dreambox shall be connected to PC via router. If the test was working for you OK, it means that receiver can be controlled from PC.
I have no idea what is the procedure of manual installation of firmware on your DM900. Google this, too.

I did all of these things for more than 20 times within last one month. I have now the dreamelite 6.0 installed on my dm900. now I want to install a fresh image of dreamelite 6.0 on my DM900. when I put the DM900 in rescue mode and in my pc browser i write there my IP address I can not get the dreambox web site (that grey web site, see attached picture) to browse and insert the FW which I want to install. the connection is not possible. it seems that something blocking the box to contact. see attached file

I did not check it but I assume when I could flash other images before with no problems then the firewall should be ok .
it seems that the box not indeed goes in rescue mode. as I mentioned in my previous note that when I put the box in rescue mode and in my pc i put box IP address I should get that gray dreambox web site to flash new image. instead of that grey web site (dreambox web site) I get this picture in attached file with a red not in upper side center of the page that the session is not possible(something like that).
normally it should be in this way that when the DM900 is not in rescue mode(normal operation) and I put the box IP address in browser I get this page

Which browser is used? I remember from my experience, it works only with IE. No other browsers supported this option.

One more thing. When I long pressed the switch button on the front panel of my DM800, I saw internal IP address of the receiver. I don't know what is the procedure in your receiver. IP addresses should be the same on your receiver and the one you entered to the browser.

I don't know if its the same in DM900. later today I can try that. for rescue mode I switch on the box from back side then in less than one second I should put my finger on front led and then it will go to rescue mode. I get the IP address on DM 900 display and on the TV display. no issue with that

Also try not to touch the switch from the back side. Try to unplug the box and plug it again simultaneously pressing front led.

I solved the problem. I used another browser and it communicated without problem. before I used internet explorer and now I used Microsoft edge and flashed the image.

if I see your last post from 17th July: you want to use Oscam, right ? so why do you configure so much emulators ? have installed all of them ?? and you are really woundering ?

Simply take a look at the logfile from your first post: your Oscam is trying to decode FFFE@FFFFFE... >> that does not looks right, I bed anything, that these are not the SRVID and the CAID of the channel you try to decode. Let say it with other words: this CS server has no package available to decode FFFE so the request will not be send to this server because it make no sense to send requests to wrong caids = cards. If your emulator on your box does not detect the service-id and caid correct it will never send it to the correct server. The server is fine, at the end of the log you reconnected from WebIF successful, but no requests to the server = disconnecting (optional Oscam settings I would not use)
My suggestion: remove all the garbage from your box, most likely best you can do is reinstall it completely and install ONE emulator you want to use and learn how to configure THIS ONE emulator
