Hello suma,
I have an account (username Falos) with 3 single subscriptions (Sky Deutschland, MTV (Viacom) and HD Plus Deutschland) which are going to expire.
I have now subscriped to VIP-Astra for this account (discription of the package: 19E Sky Deutschland(HD), HD Plus (Deutschland), ORF, Canaal Digitaal, TV Vlaanderen, MTV + Technisat) - where the user is only interested in the existing TV-subscriptions and perhaps ORF if it will stop working via keyfile later this year (but its still cheaper to use VIP-Astra *g*)
1st I am wondering, that beside VIP-Astra the 3 other packages are still listed in the billing - does not really matter, we simply use the new subscription-parameters of VIP-Astra.
2nd and that I do not understand at all, the newcmad.list shows for the VIP-Astra subscription:
CWS = srvxxx.org 2xxxa user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan cardserv
CWS = srvxxx.org 2xxxb user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan cardserv
CWS = srvxxx.org 2xxxc user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan cardserv
CWS = srvxxx.org 2xxxd user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan cardserv
CWS = srvxxx.org 2xxxe user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan cardserv
CWS = srvxxx.org 2xxxf user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan cardserv
CWS = srvxxx.org 2xxxg user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan cardserv
(and also the 3 other CWS-lines for the existing subscriptions which we do not use anymore - but which I whould have expected to vanish from the billing after buying VIP Astra)
below in the additional information is listed:
Newcamd525 ports:
D+ Spain 19E
Port:2xxxa 1810&000000
Canaal Digital
Port:2xxxb - 0100&00006A,00006C
ORF
Port:2xxxc - 0D05&000004,00000C
MTV + Technisat
Port:2xxxd - 0B00&000000
Sky Deutschland HD
Port:2xxxf - 1833&000000
HD Plus (Deutschland)
Port:2xxxg - 1830&000000,008011
the CSW line with port 2xxxe (where e is equal to 6 *g*) is not mentioned in the additional informations - what is that line for ?
and its also strange, that D+Spain19E is listed, as it is not part of the VIP-Astra subscription
currently we simply do not use the 2 lines in question before getting blocked from the server for wrong configuration (and as mentioned the user is not interested in these packages)
PS:
I am also wondering why the existing TV-packages get new ports via VIP-Astra. Can I expect the same quality/performance via the new ports as it was on the formerly used ports of the single subscriptions ?
Would it be possible to use the formerly used ports for Sky Deutschland, HD Plus and MTV even via VIP-Astra ? (not intereting for this client as I updated his settings already, but I have also some other clients which I would like to safe some money for via switching to VIP-Astra)
