Hi suma,

I thaught you may like to know I have now found the prob with sky 3d and its not the server its the transponder.

After doing menny search's over the transponders I found that thers 2 sky 3d chanel's on the transponder.

one gives a good signal but brakes up like hell. and the other has a real low signal but pic and sound are crisp and clear.

The transponder info is...

I have intermittent issue with Sky 3D channel SID 1:0:19:F0E:7F7:2:11A0000:0:0:0, sometimes it works fine, but sometimes it can't decode. It has even stopped decoding while watching a movie. Here are my details:

4. Configs: Ignore.list and replace.list, are configured according to your suggestions. If needed, I can provide my mg_cfg.
5. Problem Description: Sky 3D channel sometimes does not decode. Other Sky Movies/Sports channels work fine, even if Sky 3D fails to decode, so it can't be because of network connectivity issues. I tried also Mgcamd restart, but it didn't help:

Are you using the channel ID's as the post mentioned above that i posted? I posted all the details on the proper channel, could yours be different?

Btw, now it works again. Yes, its the same channel that you mentioned, SID 3854, I double checked.

I have another Sky 3D also, and that one has these settings:
12460H 29500 FEC 3/4 VPID 514, SID 1302, PMT 514, Service reference: 1:0:19:516:7F7:2:11A0000:0:0:0

But afair that one did behave the same way, sometimes it worked, but mostly it didn't.

Thanks for the suggestion, I switched to Mgcamd 1.35a. So far it has almost worked, only minor gliches, during 1 minute period there were 4 longer freezes (7-8sec), as you can see the server was unable to decode:

Btw, now the ESPN HD does not work, yesterday with mgcamd 1.31 it worked fine. It seems to me, that maybe you have multiple skyuk cards, and one of them does not have espn subscription, and maybe another one does not have Sky 3D, so if my ecm happens to go the the wrong card then it can't decode. This is just a speculation. I switched back to 1.31 and ESPN HD did not start working. Sky 3D continues to work. I'll switch back to 1.35 and report back the longer term results.

Is Sky 3D the only channel in the package?

The following channels shall work: AAG, ESPN, ESPN America, ESPN America HD, Geo News, GeoUK, MUTV, ZEE, Chelsea TV. ESPN HD is not included. We talked about extra channels before, the channels are for additional payment and we were not going to pay extra money for them.

Yes, the Sky 3D is the only 3D channel in the package 

I don't care much about ESPN HD or other extra channels, thought that this info might be helpful for debugging the issue of Sky 3D as ESPN HD seems to work the same intermittent way. How come it worked, if its an extra channel, and should not have worked? I watched ManU-Arsenal game on it on Saturday evening and some Bundesliga game yesterday.

Maybe that is why it is working from time to time. Moderator did not add the SIDs of the channel to subscription.

Can you or someone else do sth about it? Its really annoying if you watch a movie and the channel stops working half way through. Both Sky 3D channel SIDs have been mentioned here: 3854 and 1302, and corresponding service references in my system:

Got to see first 6 minutes of 3D Jackass, then it stopped, zapped away and back, started working again, but only till the next ecm... gave up

Guys, let us stop discussing the problem because of the only 3D channel which is not included in the subscription. Nobody will fix it because it is not included in subscription! We don't care that once it is working, and the other time- not. Is it guaranteed in the billing? NO. We guarantee only the channels from basic subscription, we have already discussed this issue in one of the threads. Add corresponding SIDs of the channels - sport, movies, entertaimnet, that's all. The topic will be closed for further posts.
First we discussed the issue with freezing on SkySports channels, now we are discussing the issue which does not have sense at all. What will be tomorrow? 4D or 5D???
