hi,
i had problems with my sky all the time. every day a few times a few minutes where i had bad pings ( 100-500ms) normal i had pings like 25 to 45ms. result of that, bad connection to the server..
i testet a lot in the last days and talked to my internet provider and they testet also my line from my home to the provider, and every time if i had bad pings, the full bandwith is taken by the dreambox. the dreambox loads a huge amount of data. so my internet line brakes down and i had bad pings.
so my question is, What did the dreambox load all the time? there is no updatet or something else. is it a problem of the image?
now i had the oozoon image with mgcamd 135

Hi.
Typically, it's not Dreambox but something like your PC which is also connected to internet. Check if you have any software like UTorrent or similar that "eats" a lot of traffic. Dreambox cannot consume so much traffic. Check also whether any DM plugin (like Torrent or Utube) is active. Disable it. Check also any mobile phones, ipads etc that could use internet from your router simultaneously with DM.
Find and install any PC utilities that calculates and shows the traffic used by your PC and everything connected to your PC (including Dreambox). Check if your network is password protected. It is important cause it prevents your network from beeing hacked (maybe, some neighbor guys has connected to your network and is using your internet). Check all possible ways and software (both on your PC and DM) that are using internet.

hi,
at the time where my provider testet it, there was only the dreambox connectet to the internet. no pc no phone nothing else.
just the router and the dreambox.
on the dreambox i had no plugins, just the original thnings like webinterface, newsreader etc.
could it be a software problem from the dreambox?
now i diconnectet the dreambox for 2 day, and had no problems with the internet. :/

How do you manage your Dreambox without PC?
Check your home network if it is password protected and if nobody else is connected to your internet. It is impossible that DM is "eating" so high traffic and all this traffic disappears nowhere... Must be any "consumers" of your internet except for Dreambox.
If you are not sure in the DM firmware, change it.

as i said my provider tested my line connection, it´s not me who tested it.
and at the time where i had the traffic i wasn´t at home and the only thing what is online and connected to the internet was the dm. my network is passwort protecctet. at router options i see no other connects expect my conections.
i also need a good ping for internet gaming, so i tested a few days playing without connect the dream to the internet, and i had allways good pings, as i pluged the dream back to the internet the ping brokes down sometimes. always for a few mins and after a few mins the good ping was back.
