I am not receiving any channels through server1. Is there a problem with server? Was working fine before.

I think the change of IP addresses for serverX.cc can take a while to propagate via DNS, could you recommend a DNS server ?

Google public DNS servers are known to be fast updated

Strange as I was getting small periods when the channels were working. Would this be the case with DNS propogation?

When I checked this morning none were clearing but after trying various things I switched my network setting within my Protek away from STATIC and all apart from the one connection went cleared.

If your network settings can be adjusted, adjust them. I cannot advice you as I have no such receiver, or wait until other users with the same receiver will advice.

i am haveing trouble with server 1 been on it for over a year and not had this problem channels work ok for about 1 or 2 min then it will say scrambled or go to blocks been doing it for the past week since the server went down i think i may go to serv3 or serv5 i do not no can any one help

My box has 16 server options and I was using 15 of them.
Have now disabled the majority of the servers and this seems to have resolved the UK part of my ULTRA package connection.
I will only enable the other servers as I require them.

There does seem to be a problem with the servers, as I have recommended a few friends here and they also are having same problems. They are also on different internet providers so slim chances we all have internet problems.

On the F5 I would recommend putting your n: line in the CCcam Client Setup and choosing Newcamd before you put in your details i.e. Host, User etc. This has helped a few people I know.

Regarding the changing server option this has been disabled for any new subscribers over the last few months.

Hopes this helps, this CS server is usually spot on but as has been mentioned they are under DDos which will cause us all problems with the traffic overloading the server.

Same problems here, works fine for 20/30 seconds and then it scrambles. pattern repeats itself

I'm not having problems with server 1, sometimes a short freeze, probably due to the ddos attack. No connection problems.

As you can see in my log, reasonable response times from server 1.

How can this be, so what you are saying is I need to tell all the 15 family and friends that I have got subscriptions for from here that they need to change their boxes from Skybox to another receiver?? I think it will be easier just to change to another CS provider, who can guarantee your new software will be compatible with the next new receiver!! SO what boxes do work with your new software??

They where all working no problems before the DDos attacks last week, now they are all having break ups every couple of seconds so it certainly isn't the boxes that are causing the faults!! 

Come on Suma if you go through the posts over the last week there have been problems from many users on different subscription packages and internet providers so you cant take the easy way out by blaming the boxes.

Suma, everything was working fine until a few days ago. Like other users, channels started breaking up and showing as scrambled, sometimes for a few sections, sometimes up to an hour. Then it stopped completely.

How can you tell us it is a problem with the receiver when it WAS working ok BEFORE?
The reason we cannot change server is because you have disabled this option... and now you expect us to pay for a service that isn't working and buy a new receiver?

Are there ANY options in your billing when you enter "Servers" menu? If you have any alternative to the one used now in your settings, try to use it.

might be worth to mention:
I have created a new account last saturday to test VIP-All-Ultra (dual login) package myself
My subscription for the new account was also setup on serv1 - and no option to switch to another server available

since yesterday I am able to switch to two different servers (with the hint, that it will not be possible to switch back to serv1)

Perhaps it is really related to the receiver/emu used (I use Coolstream Neo with Doscam) but I have no problems with serv1 to decode BSkyB, SkyLink and SkyGermany or XXL-19°.
Of course I had also some failure to connect to the server during the week (I believe regarding Ddos attacks) but not more or less problems as with other servers (serv3 and serv5 for me)

What I wanted to say that - WHY sharing works for one users and does not work for the others? Isn't it strange?
To my mind, everything depends on the receiver, not on the server (though, I am not excluding the different work of the servers which are located not in one place, sure). Why, say, Em555's receiver WAS working and suddenly stopped working at all? Sure, the reason was ddos attack, and it is still the reason. Why my Dreambox 800 HD se is still working fine regardless of the server, regardless of the connection? Why? Sure that various receivers have different network setings and they all are adjusted so that to support some connections.
BUT, as soon as the server soft has been modified with regard to ddos attack and certain servers have changed their physical location - those receivers (Skybox F5, for example) - show no reaction to the changes and are going on to keep silence. Isn't it strange?
I adviced to look deeper into the receiver settings. I am sure that there must be some manual adjustments inside the network menu of the receiver, that - if you spend some time for setting them - the receiver will work.
Probably, user does not have time or he is beginner in this - and cannot adjust the settings by himself, I don't know. That is why I suggested to change receiver. This is the easiest way out of the situation.
Of course, this is the right of the user to demand full refund and find some other CS server. There is no problem with it. But I still hope that users are curious enough to sit, spend some time in finding the way out of the situation.
I will repeat again and again - server (we) are not going to adjust our settings for users. Users shall do it by themselves by adjusting their receivers to our server. We have our own rules and everyone must follow them. If they cannot - OK, let's tell them "Farewell", find some other CS server. What else can we tell them?
One more thing I want to tell. WE are not newcomers on this market. The server has been organized more than 6 years ago. I am here since the birthday day. Ddos attacks happen sometimes. It is an exceptional situation when mainly newbies leave our server because they cannot overcome the situation. With time, the situation will improve, it will become as stable as it was before.
If you want to have good service, you have to spend some time to adjust your equipment to be in line with the service. Sometimes, fast does not mean good.

I am on server one and I am using a skybox and it is working OK. I do believe it is important to set up your skybox properly. On this box it is possible to manually set up the network, this is how you do it menu>network local setting>network setting>setup> turn off dhcp  And now you can manually set up the network. I also use google dns. DNS primary 8.8.8.8 DNS secondary 8.8.4.4  . I hope that I have helped

N-line sounds like CCcam (Mgcamd uses newcamd.list/conf-file with CWS = entry)
CCcam is not good on this server, mentioned several times in the forum and also in the billings below your subscriptions on the configuration details

Last attempt for you- we'll check if your IP is banned. If so, we'll unblock it (in some cases, it happens). I will notify the Moderator and ask him to check your IP.

Can you check if you can ping the server currently used? Ping the server from your PC. Must ping.
