New Subscriber - Additional info - Help needed ;)

Hi all, newbie subscriber here.  I chose VIP HB with camd3 (it seems newcamd isn't available from my panel) and have read a bit for info on how to setup camd3 and I am about to start testing - thing is, I already have Cccam 2.2.1 installed and running which I know is a bad thing to do around here  ( ) but I am testing a couple of other servers nowadays (and you know a lot of your competition use cccam) !! So, the question is - if I simply erase cccam.config (rendering other servers/subscriptions useless) do I STILL run the risk of being banned ? Do you require me to completely uninstall cccam plugin & configs ?
And another thing - if I mainly plan to use your server for NOVA, is there any reason to change from camd3 to newcamd (more channels) ?  Thanx !!

Hi, first of all, NOVA is not supported by our server any more. If you are expecting to get the full package, please don't. And it does not depend on which cam are you using or which protocol.
In the news and announcement section, we have already stated that we don't accept any claims regarding the package.
So, I don't think that you will be quite satisfied with our server Re: NOVA. We are waiting until the end of our official subscription and stop sharing it at all. Now, only a few of NOVA channels are left. So, take a decision whether to use it or not.

Hi Suma, thanx for the quick (and honest   ) answer ... OK, so let's suppose I stick with you for a while (or change it to something other, like, Porn only ). That's more reasons to rely (or at least Tryout) other servers that support Nova - will the co-existence of your camd3 plugin conflict with other servers cccam ?

My advice- find out Gemini Enigma image with the built-in emulators (available in internet) and, finally, use mgcamd. Only 2 EMUs are supported by our server - mgcamd 1.31 (1.35) and camd3. Cccam is not recommended (at your own risk).

Hello again. Took your advice on Nove, forgot about it (at least your servers). Removed cccam, read a bit more on mgcamd and I've been playing with my (temp?) VIP HB subscription trying only porn channels with camd3. I'm NOT using mgcamd, I installed camd3.900, dropped the two lines in the camd.servers and on it comes, BUT ... it stays on for 10 min at the most. I'm not zapping through channels. I even left a single channel on and timed it before I changed it, after 4-5 min, 2 min, 1min.
Am I using the camd protocol properly ? Or I have to go all the way and do it through mgcamd ?
Am I being banned temporarily ? (for a reason I'm not (yet!!) aware, and even if I was, would the picture come back after 5 minutes ? I thought min ban was 1 hour ?)

And, finally, I have a feeling that something must be going wrong with my router ? Strangely enough, when I get a Dreambox blackout, I am temporarily unable to access the forums as well !!! Does this make any kind of sense to you ? I mean, OK, my PC and Dbx communicate through the same router, but...  DHCP is disabled, port-forward is on for the Dreambox ... When I reset my router, porn comes back after a while and so do the forums  The rest of the internet doesn't seem to care while the picture is black...

Should I try and get logs ?

As soon as the package is not supported any more, WHY are you trying and re-trying to set it up?
You may do what you want but if we don't support this package, why shall i assist you in setting it up?

I couldn't agree more - there are some VERY strange people among us 
But perhaps you didn't understand me. I continue to evaluate my subscription only on PORN channels - not on NOVA. IF I manage to set it up properly, since I have already added (little) funds to my account, in order not to lose it all, I'll change my subscription accordingly. Who's to say, maybe I go for full VIP (HB + Astra), or forget you altogether   

By the way, since you have (long ago) decided you are almost done with NOVA, why is it that your official New Subscription page STILL offers NOVA with VIP HB, without the proper warnings (only a handful of channels/about to quit it altogether any moment now) but the new user has to dig through the forums to find out about it ?    Who's looking strange now ?

Not to get philosophical, or to get on your nerves... Simple question - I'm using a valid subscription (VIP HB) on valid channels (porn only) through a valid cam emu/protocol (camd3). The results are not as expected - how did you put it, ah....yes :

We left the package in VIPs because (maybe) some users who had NOVA some time ago and know how it works will continue watching it. As was told before in previous posts, only a few (5-6 channels) are working of the whole package.
By the way, you are using camd3 protocol. For better performance, we recommend newcamd protocol with mgcamd 1.35 (at least 1.31) emulator. You are still using Nabilo with camd3. Change image, protocol, and emu, I think you will be more happy.
The package will stay in VIPs (without 100% guarantee) until our official subscription to the package is finished at all. When it is finished completely, we (without any warning) delete the package from the billing, and everybody will forget about NOVA.
So, as soon as support of the package was stopped, we are not going to provide settings for the newbies any more.
