Not sure why I keep getting the following email as I pay for Dual login and have a Vu+ duo with two inputs. Any ideas? Nothing from my box has changed> no upgrades or anything but started getting these emails recently.

Your dual login was disabled for technical reasons. Please use only 1 tuner to watch 1 channel at a time, not more.
Sky DE and SkyUK packages send 1 request per 8 seconds instead of 1request/10 seconds. That is why, the number of requests sent by your tuner is considered increased.
We have refund you, sorry.
For future: for technical reasons, dual login will not work for SkyUK and SkyDe anymore.

No, sorry.
The most of packages are organized so that to respond 1 time per 10 seconds. It means that the key is received once per 10 seconds. These two providers changed their ECM structure (protection against CS) and you can receive the keys once per 8 seconds. The server is configured for the majority of providers sending 1/10 keys, not for these two. We can do nothing with this.

Not that it really matters, but I think it was like this for quite some time. I've had a Freesat from Sky card for some 8 months and it always was one query in 7-8 seconds.

Maybe. I am speaking about the cards currently available on the server. Of all providers, only these 2 are following 1/8 sec policy. The server is configured for the majority of providers, i.e. 1/10.

I've just had the same message... Currently running a Dreambox DM800HD...
This has only one tunner on it, don't understand why I've had this error, especially as I was only watching one channel for that period.
Can someone put some light on this for me :-\

Why are you asking the questions which are described in the message you received? All possible reasons for your short ban are explained in the message. I have nothing to add. You have no signature, and you don't read the forum. You just connected without reading any single topic, and now you are surprised why are you banned. Follow the rules, and everything will be OK.
