Add A Satellite to subscription

If i add a new satellite to my subscription when does it become active ? don't want to be on line before activation and get banned ??

i assume you can carry on using box with old subscription even before time is due for the new subscription to start and then just enter the new line into box for new subscription after the start time has passed ??

Situations can be different.
Suppose, your old subscription is being finishing soon and you bought a new one, quite different (other package, other port etc). You will need to delete your old settings and add the new ones. If you don't delete old ports, it will eb considered connection to the server without valid subscription. Understand?
Other situation- when you just extend your current subscription + adding new package. You will need just to add new port for new package leaving the old subscription as it is. And so on.

is there any way i can merge the 2 together so they just work on 1 port ?? the existing subscription i have runs till the 2nd feb 2012 the other i added today

it is not possible because each package is assigned different port. You can add various ports and subscriptions in newcamd.list file, it's easy:

CWS = server 12345 login password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan cardserv
CWS = server 23456 login password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan cardserv
CWS = server 34567 login password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan cardserv etc etc

Within one file, you may add as many ports from various subscriptions, servers, satellites etc as you want.
If you extend you existing subscription without interruption, you will need no changes - the port(s) provided remain the same.
