Hello Suma,

This post is for information to you.

I have bought a new receiver, VU+ solo 4k (verrrry nice) :)

I have had some issues getting Mgcamd to work with the receiver....so I have changed to Oscam today.
In case you see any errors on my account for this use of 2 cams.

Hi, it's not me, but YOU will see errors on your account (user statistics) in the billing. You will be pointed out at your errors (if any) and recommendations will be issued how to eliminate those errors as well. So, for me, no need to check errors of every user. This is for you, not for me.

Hi

I did not mean for you to check all the errors :)

I was worried about being banned for changing emulators, I am having lots of issues with oscam.
If I change back to MgCamd today, will I be ok?

Hi, we do not control our users in manual mode, this is server which is monitoring all users. I do not know how is your emulator configured. If properly, then you will not see any errors and warnings in the user statistics (connections history). If not - be ready to check your settings.

Thanks for the reply.
I changed back to MgCamd this morning and black screen...then I noticed I was using CCcam protocol :(
I tried going back to newcamd protocol and still black screen.

So....I have gone back to Oscam...this time with Newcamd protocol...all everything is working good now.

Apologies for all this mistake by me! :o

Hi can you help and explain how to use Oscam with Newcamd protocol? Can you send me the config files?

at least the server-configuratrion is available from the billing > My subscription > click "show settings for newcamd protocol"  > click on "Settings for emulator OSCAM" >> this is the whole oscam.server-file you need (you might modify it for personal needs, e.g. changing names for the server + port to identify the cards/pay-tv-provider behind the newcamd-connection (all yo need is below under "aditional information on the newcamd connection")
