Free trial not working...

i cant get my free trial working with mgcamd.  i using vu+ solo2 with vix 3.0.  using mgcamd 1.35a and have the files in correct place....i get this on 3CSyslog.....thanks in advance...

You have to check whether your receiver can connect to internet.
It must connect OUR IP, not your local one.
From the log, it is clear that you have no internet connection in your receiver.

I'm definitely connected to internet as I can download/stream etc....for some reason it keeps trying to connect to a unrecognised ip...a example below....

Usually, 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.2 etc - are the local IPs - either your PC, or modem.

In newcamd.list, only this information shall be added:

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000

Delete all the remaining info, if any.
Restart emulator and try again.

I also recommend you to check, what is this IP and where it is assigned to? I am sure, it is your local IP

Please also keep in mind that only one channel is available for free test. When your test is finished, you may take one more test, etc etc.
the number of tests is not limited.

The newcamd.list and mgcamd is all correct as you state.  I now have a new free trial and changed mgcamd for a different version...I have uploaded the new file but it still don't clear....thank-you...

Which channel and from which satellite are you trying to open?
What is the mgcamd version now? The thing is, that only 1.35(a) is recommended

the trial is for Disc. History s uk... using version 1.38....its the only one i could find on the download server but i could find the recommended one if you think its the cause of my problem....

thank-you for your help...i have installed mgcamd 1.35a...still no luck...i think this is a different problem and i am sure i have not made any silly mistakes....maybe an image change may solve it....i am going to try an amiko alien 2 to see if i get same fault maybe over the weekend....

Tried the Amiko Alien 2 but still had same issue.  Then connected the box using WIFI dongle to mobile phone.  All working fine through mobile connection so I guess my ISP is blocking certain ports.  Does anyone know how to get around the port blocking???
