last night after short internet blockout and router restart, my skylink stoped working.
i restarted mgcamd few times and went to sleep as i taught that there may be a problem with internet again.
today i realised that my account has been blocked in some way.
i wrote an email to moderator at 9am and again at 11am. no answer untill now...
in the meantime i eddited mgcamd as it is recomended in faq N and K parameters.
but what troubles me is following:
in connection history i see 4 connections what is not allowed....
but i have only one reciever! no PIP also!
later it showed 2 connections ... as ok, but still no picture.
after the restart of reciever i see again 4 connections to server.
why is this happening? can it be mistake of cardsharing server?
i dont want to loose prescription as this is not my mistake... or at least im not aware of it.... :-\

You say that you have only 1 receiver.
Meanwhile, our server detected connection from two different IP:
one - from XX.XX.55.1
another - from XX.XX.55.2
How is it possible that 2 external IPs are coming from 1 router?
Either you have 2 copies of mgcamd running in your receiver, or your router is glitching.
As soon as you find out where is the extra IP address from and disable it - you will start watching TV again. Account is not blocked, server blocked your 2 simultaneous connections.
-
thank you very much for your reply.
i noticed that, and that's what is strange.
even when i go to "whats my ip" pages
on one i get ip xx.xx.55.3
on second one i get xx.xx.55.2
(both on same pc at the same time)
do you think that my provider is having some kind of new system to block cardsharing?
-
No, I don't think so. This is not provider business. You have to study your router and assign only 1 IP address to your PC, and 1 IP address - to your receiver. Because, as I see, your IPs are changing every time.
-
One more advice.
Check from your provider, if they use floating "grey" IP addresses.
Ask them for static IP or for dynamic IP that must be constant.
-
well i have internal ip addreses created by wifi router completely diferrent
my reciever has static xxx.xxx.100.118
my pc has dhcp assigned xxx.xxx.100.101
this external xx.xx.55.1-2-3 is provided by provider by his cable modem (i guess) where i dont have access to
any ideas?
edit: i see that you have some advice. ill check with provider
-
i spoke with technician from provider,
apparently they did server update, but they are still checking my complaint about double ip connections.
interesting thing is that when i open 3 different "whats my ip" pages at the same time from one pc - i get 3 different ip adresses
xx.xx.55.1
xx.xx.55.2
and xx.xx.55.3
hope that they will find the problem soon >:(
-
So, keep your eye on your provider in the future and check connections history from time to time to be sure that you have the only external IP, if you have such problems with sharing like today's...

Now its connected only from one ip. It decodes a request and tv channel is working for 5 to 6 seconds and after that it freezes.
