Please specify here which packages from our server are working with Protek receiver well, and which are not. Also specify firmware used.

My package from you is the 'VIP ALL' packages.

I have a Protek 9700HD ip and I have found that I can only receive :- On 13*E Hotbird : S*y Calcio 1,2 &3; S*y Sport1,2 &3; Private Spice. On 9*E Penthouse 2, Penthouse HD1 & 2 only. I get nothing on Sirius 5*E, nothing on Thor 1*W, nothing on Digiturk 7*E nothing on Astra 23.5*E and nothing on19*E astra.

I have tried both firmwares for Protek HD 9700 ver 3.00.10 and ver 3.00.11

Hope this helps other users! If there is anything else that I can do to receive more channels then please inform me and the board for other Protek users.

I now have taken a new subscription on Astra 28.2 UK Package.

This package is working without any major problems & has been for over a month. All channels are clearing.

Hi Suma

I have currently SkyUK, VIP HB and Penthouse

Both UK And Italia work fine, a few little freezes now and then on Italia.
Polish works fine as well, although sometimes fails to connect on ports.
Spice fine
Penthouse fine.

I have tested the VIP Germany and it failed to decrypt any german channels on 19e, connected OK and recognised CAIDs, but no keys received.

How do I change my subscription from 'ALL VIP' to 'SKY UK'?

I am finding that my set up is not very compatible with the 'ALL VIP' package. I don't get all the available packages.

I would like to wait until end of my month then start new month with the new UK package

Hi,
You may cancel your subscription by e-mailing Moderator (moderator @ cardsharing.cc - without spaces) and asking him to refund.  The remaining money will be returned to your balance, and you will be able to purchase a new subscription. Or you may freeze your Vip All subscription by pressing "Freeze" key in your billing page (My subscription). In this case, your current subscription will be stopped until you restore it and wait when it is finished.

before i requested for Canal Digital Nordic and is not working , i change it to sirius worst , i tried polsat it open some but a lot of freez , then I changed to my formal subscription on Astra 28.2 UK Package which am using not , not much problem anyway,
This package is working without any major problems only that some channels like 3e and Nollywood and other once are freezing some time is not getting the keys  & has been for over a month.apart from that All channels are clearing.

Hi, this thread was created specially for Proket users. So, i joined your question with the thread.
Please consult the manufacturers of your receiver (or firmware) - why? I have no idea. The only thing i would like to tell that this receiver is going to enter the black list of receivers on our server.

I have now changed to uk sky package and everything was ok until last night when I tried to watch Chelsea v Blackpool it was freezing very quickly after about every 2 to 3 seconds YET on sunday it was perfect for both the matches! Also the same thing with Private Spice. I am on server '2' would it make any difference if I went to server '1'?

Or is there anything else I can do?

The SIDs of the Sports channels are provided. Private Spice is OK, no freezes.
No difference, when you use 1 or 2 server. If you need anything else to do with your receiver- consult the support forum of your device. I have no idea what are any other particular settings you can do with Protek, sorry.

Thanks for your advice.

As I mentioned in my previous post that "the sky1 HD" channel worked perfectly on Sunday for both matches but last night it did'nt work very well this is my query! I have no other problems also Private Spice freezes but that has been like this most of the time on and off.

Nobody else has told about freezes on SkySports 1 HD, only you. The forum keeps silence.

 I've read about the Protek 9750HD not being very good with Newcamd on here so I was a bit pessimistic about going for this package.
But I was advised to do so and I would just like to say Thank You!

I tested the protek with private spice and found that it froze every 7 seconds or so...I found a solution to this though.
Go onto private spice channel....Go into Newcamd menu...select the server that uses private spice....tab down to protocol....set to disabled....press red button (picture goes off)...set to Newcamd....press red button (picture comes back on)...You should now be able to view without freezes

Good advice, and its the same for any package that freezes when you first open it, also the same when switching between movies, sport and general channels on UK etc
