Hi,
this is from old materials dated July 10, 2006. Not sure that this is still actual.

If you want to connect sharing server, you will need the following:
1) Upgrade your receiver with ToH3.4_HoT7.5.hdf firmware (see
http://www.cardsharing.cc/index.php?topic=36.msg59#msg59 attached files)
2) Load PMC table - PMCT_hoT 7.5 (the table is valid, however not all providers have been compared)
3) Enter Humax menu ToH ->Config -> and set a) CAID Preselect CARD+S+EMU , b) Sharing Protocol Mode SSSP
4) Connect Humax5400 to the PC using null-modem cable (if disconnected), with the PC and receiver being disconnected from power!
5) Run mpcs 0.8 or later.
Open mpcs.server file using Notepad and edit newcamd protocol (the first 11 entries). The next entries are related to camd3 protocol (because it is UDP protocol, we will not discuss it). So, from the first 11 entries, we need to change only entry 4 and entry 6. 4) Device = dw.dyndns.org,10001 (here, add server name and port No. generated in the billing) 6) Account = name, passw (here, add your login and password respectively) DES key remains unchanged. If you watch several packages using several ports, you need to copy the first 11 entries and paste them below changing only port No. corresponding to appropriate package. Better to change protocol (from newcamd to camd3, all packages are using the only 1 port). Save file. If your receiver is not connected via COM1 , but other port, open mpcs.conf file and in Device = tuner@/dev/ttyS0?delay=1&timeout=300. change port. Here, COM port is specified in linux format ( example: ttyS0=COM1, ttyS1=COM2, ttyS2=COM3 etc.) Save file, run mpcs.exe, DOS window will pop up, and you must see a picture on your Humax. It happens if you entered right entries.
6) Enjoy.
P.S. There are Sharmax and HSIC sharing software which can also be run. My reply is- this is a headache....
