Thanks for all your replies but I dont even have a syslog.log file that I can edit even though 3csyslog is installed. There was no mention of editing syslog.log in the tutorial or is that only if its not working ? I guess I will have to forget about logs as ive spent over 3 hours solid trying to get this to work and I tried a few days ago as well. Thanks anyway mate, Rob aka Insomniac

The file will be created once the software is set up correctly and run. In the 3csyslog window itself, you will see the running lines. They are running as soon as the key is received from the server. What you see in the 3csyslog window, is transferred to the syslog.log.
What is written in tutorial is a translation from Russian included in the software archive.

Thanks for trying to help but it is not working correctly so I have no syslog.file. I cannot get a log file off my dreambox so I will have to put up with some channels not working until I can find a step by step clear guide to get a log off my dreambox as 3csyslog is not working for me or I somehow have it set up wrong. Anyone else who reads this and might be able to help please feel free to give any advice or suggestions as TBH I find the guides a bit confusing as they are translated from russian. Like the ip that I put in mg_cfg ive been told 3 different things to enter, 1 my pcs IP, 2 my dreambox IP and 3 leave as 192.168.1.0 (default). Cheers, Rob

The only thing I dont understand is what IP I enter cos it says enter your computers IP, do I enter the IP from my internet service provider, like the IP I would get by going to a site like whatismyip ? Also do u think it might work better and stop freezing/glitching if I install gemini enigma 4.20 instead of nabilosat ? Cos ive left mgcam_cfg as default and edited my ignore- priority list and my internet connection is good but im still getting glitching/freezing on quite a few on the channels. IP of your PC is the IP which is shown in the router. For example:
you assign 192.168.0.33 for your PC
your router IP is 192.168.0.1
you assign 192.168.0.34 for your Dreambox (or whatever receiver)
These IPs (PC and Dreambox) are assigned manually.
First time, when you just switch your DM on, you have to long press Switch ON/Off button in order DM gets IP automatically.
So, if your DM was assigned 192.168.0.33 (for example), your PC IP must be 192.168.0.34 (also, for example).
Consequently, you must know your both IPs and add them to the router settings.
In the DCC (dreambox control center - available in Dreambox utilities), to connect DM with router and further with PC and for further manipulations with DM settings, you must also manually to enter the IPs assigned to the corresponding windows. You will see it in the schematic diagram of DCC - the links will become green if the connection is right.
After this, you will set up your mg_cfg file (entering 192.168.0.33 as IP of your PC to the L {..} parameter, leaving 514 port unchanged.
In the 3Csys... settings window, you will enter either 192.168.0.33 or 192.168.0.34 (i asked you to play with IP settings), restart DM and finally you will see the lines running in the main 3CSys window. That's all.
You may install Gemini firmware, as it is the best one. Only one thing you have to find is that the imapge must contain built-in emulator (mgcamd), cause Enigma does not support emulators any more.

Thanks very much m8 you could not have made that any clearer, cheers for clarifying everything. I dont like nabilosat and I know gemini dont do emulators anymore but ive managed to find a gemini enigma 4.20 image that has 7 intergrated addon servers so you can still download and install mgcam1.35a rather than having to having to do a manual install so I think im gonna try that image, do you think that would that be ok or does it have to have an integrated emulator ? I am not sure about built-in emulators, you have to find image by yourself. After you install it, test and write your experience here pls.

1. Unfortunately, no other subscriptions contain this channel.
2. Once, when you find yourself in the black list, please don't be surprised. The EMU was tested with our server and we do not recommend it for use. Only mgcamd or camd3.

PL runs on Sky UK Sports and Canal+ Sports in Cyfra+. Also russian package on 9E has one HD channel with it.

I can only see the Penthouse HD, not the Penthouse HD 1 or 2 that they stayed scrambled any time I try and they don't open. Is there a special setting that I should do?

No special settings for these channels. What is your subscription, what is your equipment? When you complete your signature?

There are 3 days past since I subscribed with the Penthouse HD for 1 month and the Lite package for 3 days just to try and see the channels.
With the VIP Lite package (3 days) and the Penthouse epackage (1 month) I couldn't see the HD 1 and HD 2.
Now I have only the 1 month subscription of Pethouse and again I can only see the Penthouse HD channel and not the HD1 and HD2.

Isn't this weird?

I have the Amiko Alien 8900 Linux receiver with cccam, mgcam etc.

What can I do for you? There is no problem with Penthouse HD 1-2 on the server.
cccam, mgcam etc is wrong. mgcamd only!

  I tried your Vip all Packet and in digital+ package canal+ liga and barca tv were decoded. But in Vip Astra that cant do that. You will tell me that this is the subscription but i think you can update the package so we will be able to see c+ liga and barca tv from vip astra. Keep your try.

Hi, these 2 channels are included in premium package. We have only basic subscription and are not going to upgrade it. It is very much expensive.
