Update on OATV 7.3 doesnt work, downgrade impossible
« : 21 Апреля 2024, 15:42:57 »
Hello everyone,

I updated to OATV 7.3 today. I can't get Sky to work anymore.
Then I wanted to go back to the previous version with my backup, but I can't get down from 7.3.
I've already reset to factory settings and the whole thing again, but I can't get back to the working version as described here in the forum.

Does anyone know how I can get back down from 7.3?
Or is there a way to make 7.3 work?

Thank you for your help!!!

and is it a problem of all receivers capable to run OATV-images in the whole world, or would you say this problem appears on a specific receiver which name better kept a secret together with the error message you get as result of the unsuccessful downgrade with a original installation file or a self created backup file to version ???It is obviously an OATV problem so OATV support forum might be better in guessing what the solution might be

I have an Edision OS2+
I can no longer pull out logs because the receiver no longer works. I tried to install the old image via USB during the startup process, but now nothing works.
The receiver is stuck in a bootloop.
I've been trying to install old images for an hour, so far without success.
I have already installed a new bootloader. Without success.

Hello again,

I got yesterday's image working again. It worked with the new bootloader and the image via USB stick.
I'll leave it alone now. Never change a running system ;-)
Anyway, thanks everyone!!!!
