Hello. I have the amiko 8140. I have installed emulator that has this options:
In net server config has only Homecad
in the net client config there are many servers where i can put the info like server name, server port, user name, password and some other and emulator. as emulator i can choose mgcamd, cccam, homecad, and many others.
i put the data from test but nothing happens it cannot connect to server, i ping to server without response.
What i am doing wrong?
is this receiver suitable for card-sharing?

Hi,
Have you read the posts available in the Amiko thread? Or you jusr post without reading the posts of other users?

I dont suggest that you use the Enigma 2 image on Amiko. I  have found them very unstable, and prone to crashes.

With Spark on the Amiko, I can also get official downloads from the Amiko server. I have been on this server for some time, I never got any warnings or network errors, as some  unstable boxes +linux can do.

Also Spark screen is very easy to use, and looks good.

Hi, and thank you for your answer.
I have read the posts, the problem is that my receiver 8140 doesn't support spark. it is conax.
I have search all over the internet about cardsharing with 8140 but nothing found.
is there some user who has amiko 8140 and uses your cardsharing services?

For those who have amiko 8140 and cannot connect, follow this steps to succeed.
1-> download from here an emulator http://www.sat-support.tv/?a=downloads&dir=124
2-> on net client config input the username and password that you will get from cardsharing services,
that is all, have fun.
