Subtitles

Sorry another newbie question

I have a Protek 9760HD and can get subtitles on FTA channels but none on the above package.

Are they there and I can't resolve them or are they unavailable

Hi,
Which particular channels are you interested in? We'll check.
The thing is that this is provider who provides (or not) subtitles.
Check also general settings of your receiver, maybe you will find an option how to switch subtitles ON.

I'm sure that I'm set for subtitles, as I say, I can get them on FTA channels

My particular interest would be SKY Atlantic

This channel has subtitles. Read manual to your receiver and learn how to switch them on. For Dreamboxes, it is required to press yellow button (audio) and select subtitles. As for your receiver - this is your receiver and you have to learn it by yourself. At least, use Google

not all series on Sky Atlantic have subtitles options
Most of them do and worked ok

Well, subtitles (as I told you before) is a feature of provider, and we can do nothing if no subtitles are available for any particular channel. So, if you see subtitles option in the sound menu - select it and use. If not - then, "thanks" to provider. We are useless here.
