Hi, this receiver was just discussed in our forum in Russian section. It supports sharing and you can share using it, but there is no information regarding protocol used. Somebody from users told "yes" and gave such information:
The built-in sharing option is operating, but you cannot use other EMU (if you download and install it).
One port can be shared (ONLY!!!) per 1 login.
Try to find any information and post here.

This receiver works with this server without problems. In installations you put:
The address of a server, port, the login, the password. That's all.
You select the channel and run connection.

if yes it is ok?

Tecview 2050 FAE receiver has built-in sharing option.
Sharing is provided by manufacturer (at the moment- more than 100 channels).
When you turn on your receiver, the connection to server is automatic. Using EMU it is possible to open all possible encrypted channels.
The receiver operates in 3 modes:
1.S/W Update----connection to the manufacturer's server.
2.P2P--------using this mode it will be possible to connect several receivers between themselves.
3.Dream Net-------In this mode the receiver operates using Radegast and NewCamd protocols.
In order to enable the receiver operating in all three modes, you need the latest software pimg_2050fae_eu_v_test_newcamd (It's a test version, there is no final version yet.
It can be noted from the testings, that this software is not so good for each of the servers. Of FIVE servers tested only TWO are running good).
So, download the software from Zotos (the link is provided).
In order to run Dream Net mode the following is required:
Menu.>>>System settings>>>Network>>>Service Setup>>> enable Dream Net. Press Connect (Green button). A window will appear in which you will be asked, whether you like to select the mode. Press red button. Your receiver will restart. Then select CS in menu.
1.You must have Dream Net enabled.
2.SoftCam-----NewCamd.
3.Auto Connecnion---This mode does not work yet. It will be modified in the next version of the software.
4.Server No-------Currently you may set up 3 servers. In the future it will be possible to set up 4 servers. Select 1.
5.Card Type-----Set up the card type.
6.Server Connecnion-----Using Domain or Using IP.
7.Server"s Domain-----Server address or server IP.
8.Server"s Port---------Set up port.
When you perform all these settings, finally, press Сonnect (green button), a window will appear where you should set up your details received from Moderator:
1.Login-----your login XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
2.Password---your password. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
3.DesKey---------XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
4.Server name-------If any. If no name, nothing is required. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
As soon as you type all the details correctly, press OK, i.e. red button.
A picture will appear after a couple of seconds.
Note, that all settings should be made when you select the channel required for sharing.
There is one inconvenience- no possibility to set several ports at a time.

At the moment I have a wireless modem router (linksys). I need to connect the ethernet of the sat receiver which is not in the same rooom. Can you suggest an access point which would be qood to connect wirelless the sat receiver with the modem router?

Yes, it was a discussion about PS and both packages. But, unfortunately, this user whom I addressed your question, does not share these packages. He has TecView, but also not sure about SkyUK and SkyItaly. You have to try the receiver by yourself and, if in case of success, post here results.

Gemini 3.30, EMU MgCamd1.18 and Camd3.880i
You are unable to watch Sky Italy with Mgcam, but with Camd3 it is PERFECT.
Internet should be fast (up to 100ms) and stable.

I use PowerSky 8210CISKV.
Some of the users would like to test these packages and post their feelings in that very topic regarding TecView and Sky Italy (UK).
I think we shall wait for the results of testing.

You have to consult the billing system for settings. I do not know what is used for sharing in your receiver - you provide so little information.

My question is, if in the field "Server No" you have selected 2 and put the same server that you have put in 1 but with different port, would this be working?

Hi, the post was dated back to 2007. I just translated the material taken from internet. Probably, it depends on the firmware available. I am not sure how many ports are there right now. The information provided was up-to-date in 2007, not now (i am sure). So, my suggestion - to find out technical support forums via internet and ask your questions there.

I am not sure what is meant by "PORT" in the settings. This is not the port No., provided in the billing, sure. I think, it's a kind of a line (entry) where you put the info received in the billing. You have to specify what is PORT in the description, you must understand better than me, because, as i think, you are using this receiver.

Excuse me if this isn`t the right place to post my message. if its not, tell my to change it.
As i mention above, i have the TecView2051fae receiver. I have the VIP HOTBIRD packet, newcamd protocol.
As you said, only 1 port each time can someone use with this receiver.
I have no problem when i use any of the ports, but when i use the port which server has the skyItaly then after a certain time (it depends, sometimes 5min and some 15min) the port disconnects from the server.
All the other ports work perfect. Any ideas?

5-15 minutes disconnection means that server bans you because of wrong settings, or improper emulator settings or for some other reason.
You may use camd3 protocol if it is supported by your receiver. You will have the only port for all packages. I think, you will have less problems with camd3.
