I have using Newcamd from day-1.
For Nov@ you recommended camd3 because is much more stable and provides faster zapping !
If I Switch my subscription to camd3 now,
how is going to effect other packages provided with VIP Hotbird ?
What is the correct procedure ? ? :-[ ::) :
1) Switch from Subscription Menu to Camd3 (Easy Part :) )
2) Must change emu from MgCamd 1.35a to other ?
3) Where to put new setting provided from server ?
( I suppose not in var/keys/newcamd.list)
3) Must wait before changing anything to receiver or must do it immediately ?

Hi,
When changing protocol (newcamd to camd3) in the billing, you will see a pop-up message where it is written that all changes will come to effect next day at 6:00 AM (Moscow time). So, when you change protocol in the billing, make all necessary changes as follows:
1) Switch from Subscription Menu to Camd3;
2) Download and install camd3 (from EMU menu);
3) Put new setting provided from server in var/keys/camd3.servers in the line starting with #cs357x:
deleting # at the start of the line;
4) Delete the CWS line from newcamd.list;
5) Unplug receiver from internet and switch power off;
6) Wait until 6:00 AM next morning (Moscow time);
7) Switch on your receiver, make camd3 active.

Change of the protocol affects all packages. If you have Vip Hotbird, you will be provided with the ONLY port which opens ALL packages included in Vip HB. Yes, camd3 speeds up zapping. However, NOVA cards are a bit slow. Well, you will see.

I have found this file (Camd3908_E2_bh.tgz) my receiver installs tgz/ipk.
I will Uninstall mgcamd 1.35a and install the above emu.
BUT
is possible to keep using mgcamd 1.35a and only change the G line to G: { 04 } ?
If Yes,
please explain where to put new server data in (var/keys/camd3.servers) maybe ?
and can you post an camd3.servers typical contents ?
